Feldberg. The head of the department is Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor G.M.Penin. education for deaf and hard of hearing children; psychology of the hearing impaired; methods of teaching Russian language at schools for the deaf; special (verbal and nonverbal) means of communication; psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of children with hearing impairments; technique of developing auditory perception. Department of Educating Visually Impaired and Blind Children.

The department was founded in 1929, it is the only one in Russia. Department of Speech and Language Therapy The department was founded in 1977. PART-TIME TRAINING. The faculty trains students in the following programs of higher professional education: academic degree Bachelor of Pedagogy.
