AMENDMENT # 003 Question and Answer : Q3. IBM InfoSphere MDM Enterprise 10.1 includes three offerings: InfoSphere Master Data Management Server, Initiate Master Data Service, and InfoSphere Master Data Management Collaboration Server. The Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME) is a subset of the Initiate Master Data Service only. Please confirm that where the RFP requirements for corporate/personnel experience make reference to "IBM InfoSphere MDM Server" respondents should interpret the requirement as either "IBM InfoSphere MDM including the Initiate Master Data service" or the legacy "Initiate MDM" prior to being acquired by IBM. A3. "IBM InfoSphere MDM Server" is referring to the "IBM InfoSphere MDM including the embedded Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME). Also, please see amendment #1. Amend: 1. IBM Infosphere MDM Server including Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME) that is embedded within the Advanced Edition 10.0 and 10.1 b. IBM Infosphere MDM Reference Data Hub 10.1 c. IBM Business Process Manager 8 WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 8 running on Linux. 4. Annex D - Evaluation Criteria M2.1 The proposed resource must have minimum 24 months hands-on experience in an MDM Solutions Developer role (performing activities similar to those described in Section 5.2 of the Statement of Work) for 2 or more IBM InfoSphere MDM Server implementation projects which included all the following: a) Implementation of the IBM InfoSphere MDM Party Organization and Party Individual domains b) Deployment, tuning and use of the Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME) c) Implementation of a synchronization solution between the MDM Server and 1+ business system containing MDM source data. 3
M2.1 The proposed resource must have minimum 24 months hands-on experience in an MDM Solutions Developer role (performing activities similar to those described in Section 5.2 of the Statement of Work) for 2 or more IBM InfoSphere MDM Server implementation projects which included all the following: a) Implementation of the IBM InfoSphere MDM Party Organization and Party Individual domains b) Implementation of a synchronization solution between the MDM Server and 1+ business system containing MDM source data. 5. Add the following additional requirement: M2.5 The proposed resource must have minimum 24 months hands-on experience in the deployment, tuning and use of the Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME). For the purposes of this requirement only, the PME experience may have been for PME as component of IBM InfoSphere MDM implementation or for the legacy "Initiate MDM" prior to being acquired by IBM. 6. Add the following to: PART 7 - RESULTING CONTRACT CLAUSES 22. Limitation of Liability - Information Management/Information Technology (NOOOOC 2013-04-35) 3. Third Party Claims: a. Regardless of whether a third party makes its claim against Canada or the Contractor, each Party agrees that it is liable for any damages that it causes to any third party in connection with the Contract as set out in a settlement agreement or as finally determined by a court of competent jurisdiction, where the court determines that the Parties are jointly and severally liable or that one Party is solely and directly liable to the third party. The amount of the liability will be the amount set out in the settlement agreement or determined by the court to have been the Party's portion of the damages to the third party. No settlement agreement is binding on a Party unless its authorized representative has approved the agreement in writing. b. If Canada is required, as a result of joint and several liability, to pay a third party in respect of damages caused by the Contractor, the Contractor must reimburse Canada by the amount finally determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be the Contractor's portion of the damages to the third party. However, despite paragraph (a), with respect to special, indirect, and consequential damages of third parties covered by this section, the Contractor is only liable for reimbursing Canada for the Contractor's portion of those damages that Canada is required by a court to pay to a third party as a result of joint and several liability that relate to the infringement of a third party's intellectual property rights; physical injury of a third party, including death; damages affecting a third party's real or tangible personal property; liens or encumbrances on any portion of the Work; or breach of confidentiality. 4
