General conditions Calculation of the grant: 7 different cost items, from which applicants will choose the items, accordingly to the project s activities: 1. Management and implementation 2. Special needs support Any proposal may apply for funding from 2 first categories. Other cost items can only be chosen accordingly to the activities of the project.

Transnational project meetings Grant covers travel to both directions and subsistence costs Grants are based on travel distances: Short distance travel = 575 (100-1999km) Long distance travel = 760 (2000km >) Commission s distance calculator is used to determine categories http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------ Max. 23 000 per/yer The amount per month is equal to 23.000 EUR / 12 months = 1.916,67 EUR.

3) Intellectual outputs Intellectual outputs/tangible deliverables of the project staff costs for managers and administrative staff are expected to be covered already under "Project management and implementation Budgeting according to the 4 salary and country categories Manager per day of work on the project (FI 280 / day) Researcher/ teacher /trainer/youth worker per day of work on the project (FI 214 / day) Technician per day of work on the project (FI 162 /day) Administrative staff per day of work on the project (FI 131 /day) --------------------------------------------------------------- NB! Working days should not exceed 20 days per month or 240 days per year for one person.

Expenses of an ISP programme

Teaching and training assignments (2-12 months) Teachers/professors and educational staff to undertake an assignment to work, teach or engaging in professional activities For teaching mobility sending organisation can be any participating organisation, but receiving must be a participating HEI For staff mobility, sending organisation must be a participating HEI, and receiving any participating organisation Sending and receiving organisations must be located in different countries

6) Special needs support Additional costs directly related to participants with disabilities 100 % of eligible costs Reported according to the real accrued costs

7) Exceptional costs Subcontracting has to be related to services that cannot be provided directly by the participating organisations for well justified reasons Equipment cannot concern normal office equipment or equipment normally used by the participating organisations 75 % of the real costs (max. 50 000 )

Assessment criteria on the budget Elements of analysis The extent to which the project is cost-effective and allocates appropriate resources to each activity Budjetointi The existence and relevance of quality control measures to ensure that the project implementation is of high quality, completed in time and on budget General interpretation of award criteria relevant for all projects The proposal provides value for money in terms of the results planned as compared to the grant requested. The grant request is realistic for a good quality implementation of the planned activities. The proposal foresees appropriate evaluation activities at critical stages of the project, which will allow to measure the progress and quality of the project activities and outcomes, the appropriate use of funds.
