Michael Jones, MD, FACP FOUNDER Dr. Jones earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and has since been a professor and clinician at some of our nation s most esteemed cancer and research teaching facilities, including Johns Hopkins Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center. In 1997, Dr. Jones brought his talents back to the Mid-South and opened his private oncology and hematology practice, while concurrently serving as clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. Dr. Jones is triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. Jai Joshi, MD Dr. Joshi earned his medical degree from Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, India in 1971. He completed his residency there as well and at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Joshi has 40-years of experience in the field of oncology. Before coming to The Jones Clinic, he was Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at Elgin Air Force Base in Valparaiso, Florida. He has worked as an oncologist at the New Mexico Cancer Center in Albuquerque and Shannon Cancer Center in San Angelo, Texas. Dr. Joshi also has more than 30 years of teaching experience at nationally recognized facilities including the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Joshi is board certified in medical oncology.
Brent A. Mullins, MD Dr. Mullins graduated from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee-Memphis where he remained for his internship and residency in internal medicine. After practicing in internal medicine, Dr. Mullins realized his special gift for treating patients with cancer and returned to the University of Tennessee to complete a clinical and research fellowship in the division of hematology/oncology. Since joining The Jones Clinic in 2003, Dr. Mullins finds fulfillment in the relationships he develops with patients during the cancer journey. Dr. Mullins is double board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Shailesh Satpute, MD Dr. Satpute earned his medical degree from the University of Pune in Central India. He came to the U.S. in 2002 to pursue his PhD at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, spent a year as a post-doctorate fellow at Johns Hopkins and received residency training at St. Luke s-roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY. Dr. Satpute brings more than 13 years of clinical experience to The Jones Clinic. He completed his Fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis with a special clinical research focus on Breast and Genitourinary Oncology. Dr. Satpute chose the field of oncology because of the close doctor/patient relationships. Dr. Satpute is triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology.
