2 difficulties that they will encounter, the possibility to assisting other individuals in this process is one of the things that interested me in this position Having worked in a burn trauma unit, ICU environment, Family care, Psychiatric environment and urgent care settings I have the necessary experience to relate to the issues many of our members are facing and can guide others through the hurdles that they will face in their current endeavors Have managed multiple nurses and assistants in 250 patient nursing facility Have managed nurses, assistants and front end staff in productive critical care facility Goals for the year To evaluate and take steps as needed to improve membership recruitment To evaluate overall participation of members and determine how to increase that participation Determine how to implement more productive interaction between our local chapters and AMSA national Communication between National Leaders to initiate cooperation between local chapters of different regions Other information Having traveled on mission trips to the Dominican Republic has impressed upon me the increased need for properly trained medical personnel around the world. My desire to become involved in this process began while in Europe learning the operational procedures and the WHO in Geneva and interacting with other students in Germany and France. It behooves everyone involved with the medical profession to impress upon new students what is required of them. In order to provide the necessary healthcare for their patients, and to become an active participant in facilitating not only the education of these students but also in continuing our own education in order to always provide the highest standard of healthcare services that we can provide for our patients.
