INDIGENOUS PHD FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION 1.1 APPLICATION FLOW & DETAILS Introduction The online application facilitates a candidate who wants to apply for a scholarship for MS/MPhil or PhD programs. Candidate can apply online by filling in the application form. Access & Apply 1.1.2.1 Accessing HEC s Eportal 1. Open Internet Explorer (v 9.0 or above), Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. 2. In the URL area, enter following URL: http://eportal.hec.gov.pk 3. A login screen will appear. Figure 1 Login Screen 4. Already registered users can login directly. New users can create an account by clicking the Register link which will open up the following screen: Indigenous PhD. Fellowship Program Page 4 of 13

7. Filling in the following tabs are mandatory: a. Personal Information b. Contact Information c. Educational Information Figure 5 - Common Profile 8. 1. After completing the common profile; Indigenous PhD. Fellowship Program tab can be accessed from the left menu, under the Scholarship and Grants. 2. By clicking on the application form, the form will be loaded on the right pane. Figure 6 - Accessing Application Form 3. Figure 10 Indigenous Scholarship Form Educational Details 4. All the educational records must be selected to ensure that the score is calculated correctly. Though only one degree for bachelors and one degree for masters can be selected in case of multiple bachelors and masters. 5. Please take print of the application form and post it to HEC with all the required documents. 6. The application submission process is now complete. 1.1.2.3 Account Settings After you are done submitting the application, please take out some time to verify your details on the Account information tab.
