The Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solution for Inter@ct Statements and Notices has been redesigned and enhanced; customers who directly access the Inter@ct Statements and Notices application to log in will notice the new enrollment process. First time enrollment: First-time enrollment will occur for every user who is not registered within the newly-designed MFA database. This means that additional steps are taken to: 1) Verify the user is allowed to register by sending a one-time pass code (OTP) to their email on file 2) Gather secure contact methods text and/or voice 3) Select a unique image and phrase chosen by the user for anti-phishing purposes 1
The following are examples of the steps that will occur during the first-time enrollment process: Enter the user ID associated with Inter@ct Statements and Notices and click the Login button Enter the password associated with Inter@ct Statements and Notices and click the Login button 2
Click the Let s get started button to continue or the Cancel link to exit and return to the initial login screen 3
The email associated with your Inter@ct Statements and Notices account will receive a temporary onetime enrollment code; once you receive the code, enter it into the Code field and click the Continue button or click the Cancel link to exit and be return to the initial login screen If you didn t receive the enrollment code, click the Didn t receive the code? link and another email will be generated with a new code 4
Enter your contact phone number(s) and contact method(s) that can be used should you log in from an unrecognizable device. Extension information tips can be accessed by clicking the Extension located next to You will receive a Voice or SMS/Text message that contains a one-time code (OTP) to verify your identity. (Please note that international phone numbers are not supported with this feature) Check the I agree with the terms for Text/SMS to my mobile device if applicable, and click the Continue button or click the Cancel link to exit and return to the initial login screen 5
Select a unique image (click the more images button to display more randomly selected images) and then enter a unique phrase up to 30 characters. Be sure to select an image and phrase you can remember Click the Continue button or click the Cancel link to exit and return to the initial login screen 6
Test the security enrollment by clicking Text/SMS (I agree) or Voice Call buttons to receive a temporary access code If you accidentally closed the browser and already received your temporary access code, click the Already have an access code? button. To exit and return to the initial login screen, click the Cancel link 7
Enter the code you received into the Code field; if you wish to remember your device for quick access in the future, click the Register this private device check box and then name your device in the Device Description field. If you are having problems receiving the code and want to try another method, select the link to resend and/or select another contact method Click the Continue button or click the Cancel link to exit and return to the initial login screen Congratulations! You have completed the MFA registration and will now be directed into the Inter@ct Statements and Notices application 8
Registered MFA User Authentication: Once a user is enrolled in the MFA authentication, they are considered registered and will just need to receive the one-time pass code (OTP) for validation. If using a registered device from a previous session, the OTP process may not occur The following are examples of the steps that will occur for registered MFA users who access the application from a device that is not recognized: Enter the user ID associated with Inter@ct Statements and Notices and click the Login button 9
Do you recognize the unique image and phrase you selected in your MFA registration? If so, enter the password associated with Inter@ct Statements and Notices and click the Login button 10
