EIB Financing: Business Opportunities in Challenging Times 18-19 June 2012 The Danish Trade Council hereby invites your company to participate in a high-level event on European Investment Bank (EIB) financing. The event will provide strategic business intelligence on business opportunities related to EIB investments both in and outside the EU. A significant number of EIB-financed projects, within areas such as cleantech, transport infrastructure and environment, result in the procurement of services, supplies and works. With EIB annual lending volumes reaching approx. 60-70 BEUR (450-525 billion DKK) a considerable business potential exist for Danish companies. In challenging times, as today s market, such opportunities are not to be missed! The event will also allow company representatives to meet with Danish EIB employees, and to participate in 1-2-1 sessions with relevant EIB officials. By this invitation we are targeting leading Danish consultancy and construction companies. Interest organisations are welcome as well. The event will take place Luxembourg, hosted by EIB headquarters.
CONCEPT 18 June - Networking cocktail with Danish EIB officials, Luxembourg The is hosting a Networking cocktail at the Hotel Le Royal in Luxemburg. This will provide networking opportunities with Danish employees in the EIB, as well as other participating companies. 19 June Full-day event at EIB headquarters, Luxembourg Together with the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (Wirtschaftskammer Österreich) an EIB financing event in organised in Luxembourg, hosted by EIB headquarters. The EIB is the long-term lending bank of the EU and owned by the 27 Member States, including Denmark. Figuring among one of the world s largest and most important policy banks, the EIB offers individual and intermediated loans, as well as a range of special finance and risk instruments. EIB clients are public and private sector bodies and enterprises within all sectors. For more information: www.eib.org. EIB may be relevant to Danish companies: If seeking capital for own projects If interested in providing services or supplies to the EIB If interested in bidding for tenders related to projects financed by the EIB. Projects may be implemented in the EU or outside the EU such as in Turkey, Serbia, Russia, Morocco or Mauritius. The event is reserved exclusively for Danish and Austrian participants and includes discussions with EIB officials on business opportunities related to areas such as cleantech and infrastructure.
