European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) Grading EXCHANGE PROGRAM INFORMATION Undegraduate Level: 68 contact hours = 6 ECTS Courses of 34 contact hours = 3 ECTS 6.8 contact hours = 1 ECTS Local students usually take five, 68 hours courses per semester. Graduate Level: 4.2 contact hours = 1 ECTS Home universites receive International Student Transcripts under the ECTS grading standard. Responsibility for the translation of these grades rests with the Student s Home Institution. Health Insurance Visa requirements Exams The ones that are not in the list must ask for the student visa at the argentine consulate in your residence country Grade Meaning 0 Disciplinary sanction 1 Disciplinary sanction 2 Not Approved 3 Not Approved 4 70% - Minimum grade to pass. Sufficient 5 75% - Sufficient 6 80% - Good 7 85% - Good 8 90% - Very Good 9 95% - Very Good 10 100% - Excellent To be accepted at UADE it is compulsory for all Exchange students to hire a Health Insurance Service. It cost around 500 USD for the whole semester. The service is valid from the beginning of the semester till the last day of classes. Original Passport Photocopies of the whole passport (last version) 2 photos 4cm. x 4cm. (color font, white background) Criminal records from Argentina (you deal with it in Argentina) Criminal records of your country (only for more than 6 months exchange) Proof of enrollment ONLINE (we hand it in in Argentina) Final exams are mandatory and are free of charge for the first time.
