Criminal Justice Dental Hygiene The Criminal Justice degree program prepares students to work as criminal justice practitioners/supervisors/managers in law enforcement agencies, correctional institutions, juvenile courts, crime laboratories and mobile units dealing with physical evidence, or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupations. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment as a dental hygienist. Internet Services The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment as Internet/Intranet Technicians, Administrators, Developers, Managers and Masters; Web Technicians, Managers, Architects, Administrators and Masters; Web Site Developers; Internet Support Specialists; Web Page Designers; and Web Database Administrators. Nursing The purpose of the Associate Degree Nursing Program is to: 1. Prepare an educated entry level practitioner who provides safe, competent nursing care to clients experiencing defined health needs with predictable outcomes in a variety of nurse practice settings. 2. Provide a foundation for future education in nursing and lifelong learning. 3. Foster a commitment to the art and science of nursing. 4. Provide opportunities for cultural enrichment and for personal and professional development. Nursing Student Learning Outcome Therapeutic Nursing Interventions The student nurse will demonstrate competency in therapeutic nursing interventions (skills). *Implementation is the process of carrying out planned dependent, independent, and collaborative therapeutic nursing interventions in an environment conducive to the promotion of positive client outcomes.
