CRM Application Documentation Must demonstrate: 4-year (bachelor s) degree from an accredited institution of higher education and 1 year of professional records management experience Or, 1 year of professional records manager experience can be substituted for each year of college education Professional Experience: Conducting studies and surveys or developing, designing and implementing RIM systems Direct managerial responsibility for programs Teaching courses in RIM for an accredited institution full time 7

CRM Exam 6 part exam Management Principles and the Records and Information (RIM) Program Records and Information: Creation and Use Records Systems, Storage and Retrieval Records Appraisal, Retention, Protection and Disposition Technology Case Studies Parts 1-5 are 100 multiple choice questions each. Part 6 contains case studies which require essay responses. 9
CRM Exam Administration Facts Administered by Pearson VUE (4,000 locations across the country) Electronic Exam - 4 hours per test Must pass at least 70% to pass exam Test results for Part 1-5 received before leaving testing center Part 6 manually graded Test Fees: Parts 1-5 are $100 per exam; Part 6 is $150 10
