1 ARMA Houston Board of Director Nominee Biographical Sketches for 2015 Election Tad Howington, CRM, FAI President Tad Howington has over 30 years of experience in various aspects of records and information management. He has managed and directed enterprise-wide records and information programs in various organizations representing the energy, utilities and local government sectors. He is currently the Manager of e-records and Information Governance for Kinder Morgan. Tad received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History/English from the University of New Mexico. He also holds a Master of Arts (MA) in History/Archival Administration from the University of Texas and a Master of Library Science (MLS) from the University of North Texas. He is a Certified Records Manager. A member of ARMA for 25+ years, Tad has served in numerous leadership positions on the Local, Regional and International levels. Highlights of his local ARMA involvement include two terms as President of the Fort Worth Chapter and seven years on the Austin Chapter Board of Directors. He has also served on the ARMA Houston Board as Executive Vice President and as Vice-President (Meetings). In addition, Tad serves on the Board of Trustees of the Alice L Haltom Educational Fund. Throughout his ARMA experience Tad has had the opportunity to serve on various International Committees, including Standards and Development, Membership, Strategic Planning and Finance. He served three years as the Southwest Region s Director, representing the region on ARMA International s Board of Directors. From , Tad served with distinction as President of ARMA International. Tad received ARMA International s Distinguished Service Award in 2001 and was inducted into ARMA s Company of Fellows in 2002 for his continued service to both the Association and to the profession of records and information management. Tad has taught records and information management courses at Dallas County Community College, Austin Community College and in the Graduate School of Library and Information Sciences at the University of North Texas. He has also served as an Adjunct Instructor of Records Management in the Graduate School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin. In addition he has conducted over 90 seminars and workshops throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico and New Zealand.

Kimberly has been a member of ARMA Houston since June 2003 and has served on various committees including: Membership Retention Committee Membership Growth Committee Chapter Meeting - Program Committee Christmas Party Planning Committee Committee Manager for Membership Retention Houston Spring Conference - Arrangements Committee Treasurer Kari Geerdes Secretary Kari Geerdes has 12 years experience in consultative sales and marketing with a strong background in records management services including digital imaging, off-site records storage, data services and disaster restoration services. Kari's role with Image Engine is to make initial contact with new customers and to make sure that customers receive the best possible service from Image Engine. Kari is a member of ARMA: The Information Management Professionals, AHA (Archivists of the Houston Area) and HADOA (Houston Association of Division Order Analysts), as well as other related associations. Kari is also a Certified DocuWare Sales Advisor (DSA). Kari has been a member of ARMA since 2008 and has served on the board as VP of Membership and served on several committees
4 Richard Waters Vice President Richard is currently the Regional Records Manager for Vinson & Elkins, LLP. Formerly, he was employed as a Records Supervisor for another AMLAW 100 law firm, a Records Analyst for the City of Houston, and as a Project Manager for a RM consulting company. He currently has ten plus years of records and information governance experience. Serving ARMA Houston in an increasing role, Richard has been a member for 8 years and is currently serving as the Chapter s Executive Vice President. Having graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Political Science from the University of Houston, Richard is a huge Cougar fan and can often be seen on campus at various sporting and alumni events. Richard is an avid, albeit not very good, golfer and is a top tournament fundraiser for the Easter Seals Houston annual golf outing. He is also a tournament fisherman with most of his tournament entries resulting in donations to Sea Center Texas located in Lake Jackson, TX. He is also highly involved with the Oak Forest PTA, the elementary school two of his three daughters currently attend. D Anderia Dunham Vice President D Anderia Dunham works for Murphy Exploration and Production Company as a Lead Records Analyst in the Administrative/Facilities department. Her responsibilities include overseeing the Information Governance Program, managing the record retention schedule, developing policies and procedures and managing the central file room. In 1997 D Anderia received her BS in Biology from Dillard University. She has received a RIM Specialist certificate from Chippewa Valley Technical College in May Currently, D Anderia is enrolled in San Jose State University where she is pursuing a master s degree in Archives and Records Administration. She is also a CRM candidate who has passed parts 1-5 and sitting for part 6 in May D Anderia has been a member of ARMA Houston and ARMA International since April She has served as a manager of the Professional Development Committee, member of the mentoring committee and the ARMA International Glossary task committee. D Anderia was a presenter at the ARMA Houston Spring Conference in She has been a volunteer room facilitator introducing speakers from D Anderia has been the Registration manager for the annual spring conference since She has served on the ARMA Houston Board of Directors as the President, VP of Membership, VP of Meetings and Secretary. D Anderia is currently serving as the Past President on the Board of Directors and member of the Social and Hospitality committee.
5 D Anderia volunteers for Young Life in the South Central Houston area as the committee chair and youth leader. She is the Interim Fundraising Director for PUSH To Win Outreach, Inc. where she aids in the fund development for the organization. In her leisure time, D Anderia likes to cook and travel. Jason Bourg, MLIS Vice President Jason Bourg is a program advisor for the Records and Knowledge Management (RKM) Program at BHP Billiton and the current webmaster for the ARMA Houston Chapter. His work focuses on user-centered information retrieval and taxonomy development while leveraging data analytics and information governance. Past experiences include public (state and local) and private (global petroleum upstream and midstream). Jason holds a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Louisiana State University and ECM Specialist (AIIM).
