ISIS Istituto di Studi per l Integrazione dei Sistemi ISIS is an Italian private research and consulting firm, active since 1971 with studies, research projects and consultancy to support the strategic thinking, planning and assessment of integrated policies at international, national and local scales. QUEST Aims To offer support to cities committed to sustainable mobility To develop a QUEST audit method and certifying process related to sustainable urban mobility; To promote best practice exchanges among European cities; To create a network of cities and experts in the field of sustainable urban mobility.
QUEST Policy framework QUEST is funded by IEE for the years 2011-2013 : European Union promotes the adoption of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan; More than 1000 cities are committed to the Covenant of Mayors initiative and are now working on the Sustainable Energy Action Plan, part of which is dedicated to energy efficiency in the transport sector; The process of certification creates media, public and political support.

The QUEST Method: 4 steps 1. Audit Compiling a realistic picture of sustainable mobility planning and measures; Questionnaire and interview with the city s representatives. 2. Self-Assessment Participation in a guided self-assessment process questionnaire and two meetings with the stakeholders; Meeting with the city s representatives. 3. Action Plan Recommendations on possible improvements in their mobility planning Report. 4. Certification Certification of city participation in QUEST and of commitment to sustainable mobility policy.
