Immanuel is their current approach, and they have been in a supervision group with Karl Lehman in Evanston for several years now. They typically start therapy relationships with regular psychotherapy and then incorporate Immanuel as the interest and need arises. They are happy to just focus on Immanuel prayer, though if the client requests it. All staff are Licensed Psychotherapists or Licensed Clinical Social Workers. I was introduced to the Immanuel Approach in November 2011. Since that point I have come to know the loving presence of Jesus in every moment in a way that has enriched and transformed my life.
