How to submit connection request to GEC Hub Submit an EDI Connection Request form via the following URL: https://web.gsec.ford.com/gec/connectivity/connect.asp To complete the EDI Connection Request Form, Enter Supplier GSDB code (first four characters, or parent code), and click Submit. Select five-character GSDB code from New GSDB Code Request that you want to add to GEC Hub, then Submit. If you find the five-character GSDB code in Change existing Connection to the GEC Hub session, it means the supplier GSDB code has already been setup on GEC Hub. On New Connection Request page, enter the following information: EDI Contact Name EDI Contact Phone EDI Contact E-mail Current EDI Connection to Ford: NONE *New EDI Connection to Ford Translation Software: Other/None-Explain In Comments Platform: Other/None-Explain In Comments Addition Information/comments: Enter platform info if your selected Other/None-Explain In Comments above The submission will be acknowledged via email back to the EDI analyst named on the form within 24 hours of submission. These requests are processed in sequential order. A Ford EDI Analyst will contact the Trading Partner within 1-8 days to begin the connectivity testing process. How to submit mailbox profile change request to GEC Hub To make any change to GEC Hub existing mailbox, such as adding transactions, changing connection service, please submit GEC Hub Mailbox Profile Change Request via https://web.gsec.ford.com/gec/connectivity/connect.asp The form link is located in Related Links on left side of the page. Follow the instruction below to fill out the form. This request form will be sent the Ford Business Owner (Ford LL6+) for approval. Your request will NOT be completed until the business owner approves it. A confirmation email will be sent to you when the request has been approved. Supplier and Mailbox Information: Mailbox(GSDB) Code: Ford 5 character GSDB code Detailed Description of the Request Company Name Supplier Contact Name Supplier Contact Phone Transaction Type/Version changes for this request: example, ANSI X12 830 version 4010 GEC Hub Environment: recommend to select Education and Production for testing Internal Business Owner Information: Ford business owner s CDSID/Email: must be Ford CDSID in Manager Role Requestor: enter requestor s contact information Originator: afei Page 3 of 8 Date Issued: 6/12/2012

How to submit inquiry request to GEC Hub Use the phone list to contact Global Service Desk, GSD, for the IT Hubs support. Get to the phone list via the following URL, or find contact in Appendix A in this guide. http://www.spoc.ford.com/phonenumber_ito.htm To use the URL above, you will need a Ford CDSID to login and access to Ford s network. Also, you can use request center tool to submit request directly, following the steps below: 1. Start a web browser. 2. Go to: http://www.request.ford.com/requestcenter 3. Select Module 'MyServices' (set as default) 4. Select Service 'Administrative' 5. Select Service 'User Administration and Customer Support' 6. Verify your "Requested For (Customer)" information. 7. Select the "ITSM Number" radio button. 8. Enter "962" in the "Application Search Criteria" text box. 9. Click on Search. 10. Select Application name "GECHub". 11. Select Impact (4) and Urgency (4) to generate as a Low priority request 12. Select Request Type 'Operational Deployment'. 13. Enter a short description: EDI Connection, Profile Change, or Requeue Request. 14. Enter the following required specific information in Detailed Instructions. Contact's Name Contact's phone number (with extension) Contact's e-mail Address (Verify the exact spelling with the user.) Supplier's company name Sender's 5 digit mailbox code / ID (the value in the GS02 element) Receiver's 5 digit mailbox code / ID (the value in the GS03 element) Date, Time, and Transaction Type (i.e. 856, 830, etc.) ISA Control number (the value in the ISA13 element) of the documents in question 15. Include the GEC Hub provided reference number if the customer has one. 16. Select "Submit Order". 17. Select "Continue". 18. Assign to APP OPS ITHUBS 101 (GEC Hub Support Team) Medium and low priority request would be submitted to the GEC Hub ITMS 962 application support team for next business day support. Enter the following required specific information in Detailed Instructions. Contact's Name Contact's phone number (with extension) Contact's e-mail Address (Verify the exact spelling with the user.) Supplier's company name Sender's 5 digit mailbox code / ID (the value in the GS02 element) Receiver's 5 digit mailbox code / ID (the value in the GS03 element) Date, Time, and Transaction Type (i.e. 856, 830, etc.) ISA Control number (the value in the ISA13 element) 15. Select "Submit Order".
