Temporary/Trial site The starting point of every BC site; a free and temporary version of a BC site that can be used to test drive functionality, add content and customize the overall look of the site. The trial site will not be indexed by search engines. A trial site will expire if you will not access it for 30 days. Prior to a Trial site's expiry date, you can upgrade, delete or extend the expiration date for a Trial site. Trial sites from a functionality point of view are the same as paid sites with the exception of a number of final setup points. You can only do the following once you upgrade and pay for a site: Add your customer's domain to the site, e.g. yourcustomer.com Add a payment gateway to the site and collect payments Add pop email addresses Enable search engine integration for maximum visibility in major search engines Send email marketing in larger volumes Once a trial site is ready to go live, you would simply need to choose a BC site plan or redeem one of your free included sites (for example, using a Creative Cloud free site) Live site A temporary/trial site that was either upgraded using a standard BC site plan or pushed live using an included site (for example, a Creative Cloud webbasics free site) Expired site An expired site is one that has exceeded the expiry date set for that site.
