H Promise H Promise offers 2 types of policies, Regulated Mechanical Breakdown Insurance, and Non-Regulated Dealer Care Extended Guarantee. The appropriate scheme will be set up and will be dependant on the company status. H Promise Used Car Warranty is very unique as you are able to apply this policy to all major makes and models! Standards and Requirements All Hyundai Dealers nationwide have been rebranded from Hyundai Approved to H Promise. This is in line with Global branding and new forecourt POS has been issued. The online website and forecourt POS stipulates the following: All H Promise Used Cars are sold with a minimum of 12 Months Extended Warranty and 12 months Roadside Assistance via the programme All H Promise Used Cars are HPI Checked or equivalent All H Promise Used Cars come with a 30 day exchange guarantee In order to ensure compliance, it is imperative that a dealer adheres to the advertisements of H Promise. To help you maintain standards we have assigned a H Promise Representative to your dealership, they will help to: Train staff members on the programme Troubleshoot programme related issues/queries Ensure all intended policies are applied via regular audits Replenish relevant literature (books, policy wording etc). Hyundai Support Products In addition to H Promise we recognise the need for other products. Should you stock any vehicle beyond the H Promise parameters we do have a product available via our Support System. In order to protect older or higher mileage stock we do have a Car Protect 5 Star policy available, this will: Enable vehicles to be put on risk up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. Carry a 1000 individual Claims Limit up to the Retail Value of the vehicle today. Inclusive of loadings with the exception of 4x4 which is a 50% additional premium. GAP Insurance Our Gap Product is like no other, we have tailored it to meet FCA requirements and ensure you always treat your customers fairly. We have rolled all the possible Gap options into one simple product. This means you do not have to worry about the type of Gap product to offer your customer this fits all. It has been designed to meet all the requirements your customer would need in a product, despite the method of purchase of the vehicle. We ensure that this product works in the best interest of your customers. What it does: It will pay either the Finance Settlement or True Invoice Price, whichever the greatest at the time of Total Loss. It pays from the customer s Motor Insurance pay out, no reference to Glasses Guide or any Cap valuation. New Car Buyer: We will put them in a new car at the time of total loss regardless how long into the term the loss occurred. If the current make and model has been super seeded by a new one, we will simply give them an upgrade at no expense to yourselves or your customer and you re-supply the car. We have once again ensured that your requirements as a dealer fulfil the Customer s demands and needs. You can offer different terms to suit your customer s requirements with a 12, 24 or 36 month policy to ensure you don t over insure them. For those customers that have a motor insurance that includes new for old in the first year or in the case of Saga customers, two years to ensure no miss-selling. We will also cover the following: New and used vehicles, all makes and models up to 7 years old on inception All vehicles up to 40,000 1,000 of dealer accessories including Paintwork Protection A maximum pay out of 20,000 The first 250 of the customers Motor Insurance excess Negative equity Where you have a customer who has Negative Equity we will cover up to 2,000 of this sum.
