6 POLICY SUMMARY This document contains some important facts about your policy. The document represents only a summary of cover to help assist you in making an informed purchase decision. When cover is purchased, a policy handbook will be provided which contains all of the terms and conditions of the policy. Please take time to read the policy handbook to make sure you understand the cover it provides. Land Rover believes in long-term ownership and, when the warranty on your new or used Land Rover vehicle expires, we believe you should have the option to continue the protection on your car and take the journey further. Our Extended Warranties are specifically designed for Land Rover vehicles, so whatever the journey, you ll appreciate the reassurance of knowing that you re covered for both mechanical and electrical failures.

8 APPROVED EXTENDED WARRANTY Approved Extended Warranty is available for Land Rover vehicles which at the time of warranty purchase are a maximum of five years old and have covered less than 75,000 miles. Summary of Cover The Approved Extended Warranty covers defects to most factory fitted components of the vehicle for mechanical or electrical failure. What your Approved Extended Warranty Does Not Cover: Although Land Rover Extended Warranty provides extensive cover, there are a number of significant exclusions and limitations which you should be aware of. All service/maintenance operations and adjustments Glass Paintwork and bodywork Trim, upholstery and cosmetic finishes Wheels and wheel balancing/alignment and adjustment* Recharging of air conditioning unit* Tyres Batteries Bulbs Exhaust system including diesel particulate filter (catalytic converter is covered) Water ingress Strikers and hinges Wear and tear *Unless part of a valid claim Claim Liability Unlimited up to the price paid for the vehicle in aggregate. Mileage Restriction Unlimited mileage during the term of the warranty. APPROVED WARRANTY Important The information here provides a summary of the cover provided with an Approved Extended Warranty. 10 SELECT EXTENDED WARRANTY Select Extended Warranty is available for Land Rover vehicles which at the time of warranty purchase are a maximum of ten years old and have covered less than 100,000 miles. Summary of Cover The Select Extended Warranty covers most major repairs on the following components of the vehicle for mechanical or electrical failure: Engine Gearbox Differential Drive line Suspension Steering Cooling system Air conditioning Braking system Turbo unit Fuel system Casings Clutch Electrics Transfer box Note A Items not covered on the Approved Extended Warranty are also excluded from the Select Extended Warranty. SELECT WARRANTY Claim Liability 3,000 individual claim liability and aggregate claims up to the price paid for the vehicle. Mileage Restriction This warranty will provide cover for your vehicle for the duration of the warranty period up to a maximum of 25,000 miles from the date of warranty purchase. Important The list of covered components are high level headings only and the information here provides a summary of the cover provided with a Select Extended Warranty. 12 ADDITIONAL BENEFITS Land Rover Approved Extended and Select Extended Warranties also offer the following additional benefits. Replacement Vehicle If you have a valid claim, you may claim reimbursement for a replacement vehicle, but not including fuel and insurance. You are responsible for the first 24 hours that you cannot use your own vehicle. After this period, you can claim for a replacement vehicle for up to seven days. Overseas Cover Your vehicle is covered whilst it is outside the United Kingdom in Europe for up to 60 days during the period of warranty. If your vehicle has a breakdown in any country, which is a member of the European Union or EFTA (European Free Trade Association), you will be entitled to authorise a repair by any Land Rover dealer. MOT Test Insurance MOT Test Insurance cover available up to a limit of 750 (including VAT). Please note, the first 50 of any claim must be paid by the warranty holder and MOT test and re-test fee are not covered. Significant Exclusions or Limitations There are certain items which these policies specifically do not cover. Full details can be obtained from your Land Rover dealer or Land Rover Approved Warranty Administration. If the vehicle has been modified in any way you must declare this prior to application for the warranty. Any vehicle fitted with wheels and tyres that exceed Land Rover maximum approved size and diameter must also be declared prior to application for the warranty as fitment of such wheels and tyres could invalidate the warranty. The vehicle must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer s recommended service schedule. Non UK registered left-hand drive and Grey Import vehicles. Public service vehicles, such as police vehicles, ambulances and military vehicles are excluded. Vehicles used for hire or reward, vehicles used in any sort of competition, rally or racing and any vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight of more than 3.5 tonne are all excluded. Warranty cover may only be granted to individuals residing or corporate bodies registered in the UK.

15 CUSTOMER INFORMATION Demands and Needs Statement This product range meets the demands and needs of a Land Rover owner who wishes to cover themselves against certain costs of mechanical failure of their vehicles. Policy Premium Payments and Policy Durations Cover is available on a monthly renewing basis with ten monthly payments or as an annual policy with a single upfront payment. The cover levels provided by a monthly renewing policy are identical to those of an annual policy. For a monthly renewing policy, you must pay the required premium every month on or before the date when it is due. Should you fail to pay a monthly premium when it is due, all cover will cease immediately from that date. Your monthly policy has a minimum term of 12 months and we reserve the right to vary your monthly premium at any time by providing you 30 days notice in writing to the last address you provided us with. We will not automatically renew your cover after the initial 12 month period, however we will write to you at the last address you provided to give details of how to continue your cover. Continuation of cover may be subject to certain vehicle eligibility criteria. Cancellation Rights and Refunds We hope you are happy with the cover this policy provides. If after reading your policy document, however, this insurance cover does not meet with your requirements, you have the right to cancel the warranty (including the MOT element of the policy) within 30 days of purchase and the optional assistance element within 14 days of purchase. Should you wish to cancel within this period, please return the policy to the Land Rover dealer from whom the policy was purchased; the dealer will then refund any premium you are entitled to. If you purchased your policy online or via postal application please contact Land Rover Approved Warranty Administration on for a refund of any premium you are entitled to. If you wish to cancel your policy after this 30-day period, you may cancel your policy in writing at any time and receive a pro rata refund of your premium based on the number of whole months remaining subject to the deduction of a cancellation fee of 35. Requests for cancellation outside of the first 30 days from purchase should be made in writing to Land Rover Approved Warranty Administration.

16 There will be no refund entitlement under the following circumstances: in the last 30 days of cover on the warranty including the MOT policy if you have made a claim on the warranty or the MOT policy where the warranty including MOT policy has been transferred from the original purchaser where Land Rover Assistance has been taken as a cost option, no refund or part refund will be provided after the first 14 days, or where assistance has been sought within the first 14 days Making a Claim In the event of a claim arising, you must follow this procedure: Take your vehicle to the Land Rover supplying dealer with the following information: The full warranty type and number (found on the Warranty Certificate) The date and mileage that the component failed. In the event that you require help, please contact the Customer Service Helpline on How to Make a Complaint We hope that you will be pleased with the service we provide. In the unlikely event of a complaint, you should contact the administrator in the first instance on , or in writing to: The Customer Services Manager, Land Rover Approved Warranty Administration, Jubilee House, 5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury, West Yorkshire BD3 7AG. You also have the right to ask the Financial Ombudsman Service to review your case. The right to apply to the Ombudsman must be exercised within six months of the date of our final decision. Telephone: Compensation Scheme The Insurer is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if the Insurer is unable to meet its obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. 17 Insurer Motors Insurance Company Limited ( the Insurer ) will provide the Insurance outlined in the policy handbook, on the condition that you have paid the premium for the cover that you have chosen. All the terms, exceptions and conditions shown in the policy handbook will apply to this Insurance. Motors Insurance Company Limited is an incorporated company limited by shares. Registered in England No Data Protection Authorisation Statement In processing and managing this agreement, the administrator will collect, transfer and store the information you have provided in their secure servers based in the United States of America. The administrator has taken measures to ensure that there is an adequate equivalent level of protection of your information in the U.S.A. in accordance with legislation in the United Kingdom. In compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, you are entitled to ask us to amend our records about you if they are not correct, and you may request a copy of the information we hold about you by applying to us in writing addressed to: Compliance Officer, Car Care Plan Limited, Jubilee House, 5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury, West Yorkshire BD3 7AG or by ing CCPH_DPA@carcareplan.co.uk. 19 3. What else do I need to know about my Land Rover Assistance policy? Significant Features and Benefits The Assistance provides: Within the UK you are covered for: Storage Car hire Onward travel/hotel accommodation Redelivery of your vehicle if the dealer is over 50 miles from your home Within Europe you are covered for: Roadside assistance and recovery Vehicle repatriation Storage Onward travel/hotel accommodation Car hire Message service Significant Exclusions or Limitations Land Rover Assistance will not pay for: Any expense incurred without the prior authorisation of Land Rover Assistance Pre-existing defects Any expense that would have normally been payable by you, such as fuel and toll charges The cost of replacement parts, unless covered by Land Rover Warranty Any costs resulting from participation in motor racing, rallies, speed or duration testing Any costs resulting from your vehicle being kept in an unroadworthy condition, or not being serviced in accordance with the manufacturer s recommendations Any costs resulting from you being under the influence of intoxicating liquor, solvent abuse or drugs Any consequential losses arising directly or indirectly from the immobilisation of your vehicle Damage or injury intentionally caused by you or resulting from your participation in a criminal act or offence

20 4. What is the duration of the contract? Your policy will run for 12 months from your policy start date. 5. Do I need to do anything after I have purchased the policy? Please remember that it is your responsibility to regularly review your level of cover to ensure that it remains adequate. 6. What cancellation rights do I have? We hope that you will be happy with the cover your policy provides. However, you have the right to cancel it within 14 days of receiving the policy handbook, without giving any reason. If that happens, we will refund your payment in full. In the event that you wish to cancel this policy within the 14-day period, in the first instance please contact Land Rover Approved Warranty Administration, who will arrange for the refund. Please note that if your policy is cancelled after the expiry of the 14-day period, following receipt of the warranty documentation no refund will be payable. Under no circumstances will a refund be given if a claim has been paid. 7. How do I make a claim? If you require assistance following vehicle breakdown, fire or theft please do not attempt to make your own arrangements.
