At Oxford University, UK (one of the world's leading academic institutions) I studied Fine Art and Psychology (double major). To get a background in the digital arts, I then studied design for web and print at the School of Visual Arts. Before ending my academic career, I trained at

2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where I used the cutting edge facilities of the oldest technical school in the English-speaking world to train in 3D animation and video editing. By 1998 I was already a web designer and a 3D animator with an extensive hands-on training in Fine Arts. Over ten years later, I'm an expert with Adobe Software and with hand-coding web sites with an eye for detail. I also do custom illustration by hand and in Vector format which is ideal for print. My 12 years experience working in design for web, print and interactive presentations have allowed me to learn the importance of communicating clearly and exceeding expectations by getting the project done before deadline. 5 Print Advertising Campaign LUCA Oil & Gas Development As one of the sponsors for an event in San Francisco, CA, in 2013 LUCA had a color advertisement in the associated magazine. As their lead designer on retainer, I was asked to come up with and execute the concept for the ad (original logo can be seen on their website: I was asked to incorporate a snake theme into the Luca Oil & Gas logo to symbolize the Chinese Year of the Snake. I incorporated a custom illustration of a snake skin texture into the original logo shape. I also create eblasts, web designs, tradebooth posters and more for this client on an ongoing basis.

6 Print Advertising Campaign LUCA Oil & Gas Development As one of the sponsors for an event in San Francisco, CA, in 2013 LUCA had a color advertisement in the associated magazine. As their lead designer on retainer, I was asked to come up with and execute the concept for the ad (original logo can be seen on their website: I was asked to incorporate a snake theme into the Luca Oil & Gas logo (since my idea to alter the logo itself with a dragon theme created a big buzz the previous year) to symbolize the Chinese Year of the Snake. I incorporated a custom illustration of a snake skin texture into the original logo shape. I also create eblasts, web designs, tradebooth posters and more for this client on an ongoing basis.

14 POSTER This is a full-sized custom illustrated movie poster I created for a hospital s going away party for a doctor who was a fan of the book and movie A Hitchiker s Guide to the Galaxy. It was created in the theme of the official movie poster with the doctor himself in the illustration.

15 POWERPOINT SNAPSHOT - HENNESSEY This is an example of some of the graphic design work I did to images that I imported into a PowerPoint design I created for Hennessey. I created glassy reflections to give the slide a more elegant look and feel.

16 POWERPOINT SNAPSHOT MORGAN STANLEY This is an example of a rollover I created for a closeup of a table of figures. When the presenter rolls over a certain point of a slide, a closeup would appear and automatically disappear again when the mouse was rolled off. The text would be small to read from the audience s point-of-view otherwise.

35 VECTOR ILLUSTRATION I am also an illustrator and specialize in vector format which I use for logos, icons, character development, for print, web and mobile apps. Vector images are ideal for print because they remain infinitely scalable while remaining crip at any size as opposed to bitmap format which blurs when resized.
