1 Employer Relations
2 Thank you for your interest in recruiting Princeton students and alumni. The Employer Relations team at Princeton University Career Services is committed to maintaining strong relationships with employers and to facilitating their connection to our students and alumni. We strive to provide high quality services and programs that allow all organizations to establish a mutually beneficial recruiting presence on our campus. We can assist your organization in posting jobs and internships, visiting campus for interviews, career fairs, or information sessions; and can help you explore a variety of visibility options to reach the Princeton audience. Posting Jobs & Internships We welcome job and internship postings from employers seeking to fill positions with current undergraduate and graduate students, or alumni, of Princeton University. General Posting Policies Career Services reserves the right to determine which postings are appropriate for inclusion in its databases. All employers posting opportunities with Career Services are required to abide by the Nondiscrimination Policy of Princeton University as well as work within the framework of accepted recruiting, interviewing, and selection techniques. This includes policies set forth by the University, the Office of Career Services, the National Association of Colleges & Employers, and the United States Department of Labor (FLSA Guidelines as they relate to paid vs. unpaid positions). Please visit our website for more information. Current Undergraduate and Graduate Students TigerTracks Tiger Tracks is Princeton s own online system (powered by Experience and maintained by Career Services staff). You may post full-time jobs, internships and fellowship announcements for FREE. TigerTracks is also the system used for On-Campus Recruiting. For information on our fee structure and how to schedule an on-campus recruiting visit, please visit the employer section of our website. UCAN The UCAN Internship Exchange is a consortium of 22 highly selective private colleges and universities that was created in order to share listings of domestic and international internships, fellowships, and other short-term opportunities with students. You may post internships on this system for FREE. Alumni Alumni Module In partnership with Career Services, Experience provides an alumni postings module on our website for employers and alumni to post full-time opportunities for Princeton University alumni. Employer postings are fee-based, however, we offer FREE postings for Princeton alumni to advertise positions for fellow alumni. (Princeton alumni status must be verified before registering for an account.)

5 Visibility Options To help raise student awareness of your organization at Princeton University, we are happy to assist your organization in building and maintaining on-campus visibility. In addition to our career fairs (see calendar on previous page), there are some additional visibility options listed below. For more information on these options, please visit the Employer section of our website. Advertise in campus publications Career Fair Guidebooks and other Career Center Publications We developed an employer advertising program as a cost-effective way to help you establish or maintain a successful recruiting partnership with our school and enhance your organization s visibility in our career center publications. This includes advertising in our Career Fair Guidebooks and our new Career Planning Guide, a comprehensive resource for all undergraduate students. Campus Media Outlets Employers may wish to purchase advertising in other campus media outlets to publicize opportunities and upcoming events. The main campus newspaper at Princeton University is the Daily Princetonian, a student-run, nonprofit organization since 1876 ( The second largest student-run publication is the Nassau Weekly, which operates under the Princeton Broadcasting Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization ( Additionally, the student Publicity Agency is a student-operated business that provides door-to-door flyer delivery, mailbox stuffing, bulletin board, and poster services across campus. For more information, [email protected]. Host information sessions and company presentations As part of our on-campus recruiting program, we can assist your organization in planning pre-interview presentations and information sessions. This includes handling room reservations on-campus such as University classrooms and lecture halls. Or, once you have registered to host an information session with our office, we can also direct you to other convenient off-campus venues, such as the Nassau Inn. The fees associated with this service are available on our website. Send customized messages to students via TigerTracks We can send targeted messages regarding opportunities at your organization to students who have expressed an interest in your industry at no cost. We can also send messages to publicize your information sessions/company presentations. Due to the high volume of requests, we generally limit this service to one targeted message per event/position. The guidelines for writing and submitting messages are available on our website. Reach our students via Twitter by using the hashtag #HIRETIGERS We encourage your organization to add the hashtag #HireTigers to any of your recruiting-related tweets as a means to broadly reach the Princeton student audience. You may also include Career Services Twitter when posting content. Continued next page...
6 Register Princeton alumni at your organization as Princeternship Program hosts The Princeternship Program is an externship program that allows students to explore their career interests and make professional connections with Princeton alumni. The program involves alumni hosting Princeton students in their workplace during the academic break periods (winter and spring) for one to three days. Organizations may structure activities for the student in a variety of ways to provide them with a realistic day in the life experience and valuable exposure to their company including employee shadowing, tours, meetings, informal discussions, or case studies. Students apply to participate in the program and your organization may host one or more students. If you are interested in registering or would like more information, please visit the Princeternship section of our website (select Princeternship from the shortcut menu at the top of our homepage). Present a skill-building workshop for students or become a Recruiter in Residence We welcome employers who wish to share their insights regarding the job search process with our students. For example, our Case Interview Strategies workshops are hosted by employers and help students learn how to prepare for the challenges of a case-style interview. Employers may also participate in our Recruiter in Residence program to meet with and advise students regarding their job search strategy, provide resume critiques, or mock interview practice sessions. These workshops and visits are advertised in the Daily Princetonian and your organization s name will be featured in promotional materials and on our website.
