7 Hilton Garden Inn, The Gardens at Market Square / Pittsburgh, PA owner / Millcraft Investments project type / new construction interior design Interior design services are being provided for a new urban, limited service hotel. Located in downtown Pittsburgh as part of a new mixed-use $90 million development, the design features a unique 2-story lobby. The design aesthetic recognizes and lauds Pittsburgh s industrial roots, while incorporating the Hilton Garden Party theme to create Pittsburgh s only urban garden retreat.

8 American Roost / Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania owner / Millcraft Investments project type / new construction interior design As part of the Garden s $90 million downtown Pittsburgh development, American Roost is located in new Hilton Garden Inn which features also designed by the firm. The restaurant features a contemporary, casual rustic design to accompany the small plate American menu. American abstractions can be found in elements throughout American Roost.

9 Courtyard / Tollocan, Mexico images from Marriott International website owner / Operadora El Gran Hotel SA De CV project type / new construction exterior concept, interior design design goal of this project was to interpret the latest prototype from Courtyard by Marriott, but with modifications to fit the geographical location local materials are showcased, increasing sustainability of the project and reducing its ecological footprint a unique, fresh, and trendsetting environment was created while meeting and exceeding all brand expectations for this seasoned and successful local hotel developer

10 The Forbes Hotel / Pittsburgh, PA owner / private owner project type / Historic Restoration and Renovation architecture, interior design This is a lively design hotel on an intimate scale offering 105 guest rooms, 3 bars, and a brasserie-style restaurant. This boutique hotel will offer discreet personal attention, five-star service, and an optimal location, within easy walking distance of the convention center, corporate headquarters, the sports stadiums, theaters, galleries, and museums. Built in 1889 as the German National Bank, the architecture and interior design combines the historic character of a beloved architectural landmark with 21st-century and state-of-the-art technology. With a point of view that embraces both the local and the global, it will showcase an authentic experience of its urban setting, curated with pride by a native and flavored with a sense of international sophistication.

13 Tres Rios / Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania owner / private owner project type / new construction interior design concept Tres Rios is a blend of Mexican design aesthetics and the personality of its Pittsburgh locale. The new restaurant is located in converted storefronts in the historic and ethnic Southside neighborhood which is home to numerous boutiques, galleries and entertainment venues. The restaurant design integrates traditional Mexican art elements and color palettes into a contemporary and welcoming design.

14 Cloud 9 Nightclub / Cleveland, Ohio owner / Judy Jaracezewski project type / building renovation for use as Lounge architecture, interior design as Cleveland began to revisit the assets of its historic Warehouse District, this under-used structure, along with others, was chosen to undergo an adaptive reuse renovation a study of the entire building was completed and the narrow space was transformed into a viable use more suited to its developing neighborhood new steel frame structure, floor framing, egress stairs, and mechanical and electrical systems were inserted within the building envelope to maintain the historic façade
