2 The new 200 SERIES innovation in the area of explosion protection The fi rst sunlight readable 7" widescreen colour display with touch screen Cutting-edge technology, widescreen formats and a robust, compact design those are today's requirements for Operator Interfaces in machine-oriented visualisation. The innovative 200 SERIES meets all of these requirements. The product design of the 200 SERIES integrates high technology into a very robust construction making this operator interface suitable for installation on drilling rigs as well as for tankfarm automation and in the process industry. For optimum legibility, the luminous 7" wide screen display visualises processes with great contrast and in brilliant colours.the specially hardened glass front (across the entire front of the device) with capacitive touchscreen makes this industrial HMI as easy to operate as a smartphone. Unique in its class, the 200 SERIES was designed for temperatures ranging from -40 C to +65 C, making it suitable for operation world-wide. Its robustness is evidenced by tests for resistance to seawater, shock and vibration

This is made possible by the use of special materials and a sophisticated processing concept. The fi rst 7 widescreen display for Zone 1 hazardous areas The panel-mounting devices with their 7" colour displays are the first to visualise processes in the modern widescreen format WVGA (800 x 480 pixels). Our high-quality, sunlight readable displays generate images of impressive quality both outdoors and indoors. All displays have an easy-to-operate capacitive touch screen, which is specially protected behind a hardened glass front. -40 C to +65 C Highly reliable worldwide operation A successor to the FALCON devices, the 200 SERIES has compatible outside dimensions and is suitable for operation in temperatures ranging from -40 C to +65 C. Certified according to ATEX and IECEx, the device can be installed worldwide. Further certifications are pending acc. to NEC, CEC, TR, KGS/KCC and Inmetro. 6

8 Two visualisation systems As a standard, two integrated visualisation systems are available for the SERIES 200: SPSPlus Runtime and Movicon TM CE Runtime. Both visualisation systems are pre-installed and licensed and supplied together with a Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system. SPSPlus Runtime SPSPlus Runtime is a tried and tested visualisation software produced by STAHL HMI and supports all EXICOM Operator Interface series. The engineering software SPSPlusWIN runs on Windows XP/7/8 and supports fast and affordable project engineering of simple to medium complexity. Movicon 11 The Movicon 11 TM software package is now used with over 80,000 applications and is based on XML technology. It is fully scaleable, contains powerful functions and supports applications based on Embedded Win CE up to a SCADA platform on Windows 7/8 and servers. Progea and Movicon are registered trademarks of Progea S.r.l. Italy. Windows is a registered trademark of MICROSOFT Corporation Technically mature and flexible in its application, Movicon 11 TM can be used with small HMI applications as well as powerful SCADA servers - it is now available for the SERIES 200 as MovCE 4096 IO. 8
