13 Vocational training and professional higher education EQF - level 5 and level 6 VET- to provide vocational, professional and occupational competence to perform successfully in the labour market and lifelong learning PHE student acquires the competence necessary for employment or to continue the studies in master level Flexible systems of education, based on a learning outcomes approach, which support flexible learning pathways between the different education and training subsystems (school education, VET, higher education, adult education) validation of non-formal and informal learning, including competences acquired in the work place.
