2 Professor Peter Cameron Professor Peter Cameron is the Immediate Past President of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine, Past President of the Australian College for Emergency Medicine and Past Chairman of Emergency Medicine in Qatar. Other appointments include Head of the Victorian State Trauma Registry and Associate Director of the National Trauma Research Institute of Australia. Peter is the author of Textbook of Adult Emergency Medicine, 4th Edition. Peter & his wife Janet are return visitors to Cork, having braved the infamously wet West Cork EMS cycle in 2010! dr cliff mann Dr Cliff Mann is President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and council member of the Royal College of Physicians. He has represented Emergency Medicine on guidelines and reports for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death (NCEPOD). He was named in the Top 10 HSJ Clinical Leaders in the UK 2015.

3 Professor Keith Willett Professor Keith Willett is National Director for Acute Episodes of Care (NHS England), past National Clinical Director for Trauma Care and Professor of Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery, University of Oxford. He was named in the Top 10 HSJ Clinical Leaders in UK PROFESSOR BOB JARMAN Professor Bob Jarman is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine in Newcastle and visiting professor at the Teeside University. He is Chair of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Subcommittee and a member of the Ultrasound Special Interest Group for the European Society of Emergency Medicine. He was lead author for the recent PoCUS Curriculum Guidance and is on the Council of the British Medical Ultrasound Society.

4 Dr gareth davies Dr Gareth Davies is Medical Director of London's Air Ambulance and Consultant in Emergency Medicine, Pre-Hospital Care and Emergency Preparedness with Barts Health NHS Trust. He has developed standards in pre-hospital care including resuscitative thoracotomy and REBOA. Gareth has been the lead consultant at many of London's major incidents, including the July 2005 bombings. dr theresa campo Adjunct Professor Theresa Campo of Case Western University is an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years experience in EM including prehospital, quick care and trauma. She is the author of Essential Procedures for the Emergency, Urgent and Primary Care Settings: A Clinical Companion.

5 Dr brian burns Dr Brian Burns is a Consultant Emergency Physician, Pre-Hospital and retrieval specialist, Director of Research with Sydney HEMS. He is the Trauma Director Orange Health Service, NSW and A/Professor of Emergency Medicine, Sydney University. He is a UCD graduate. Col(ret) John Mcmanus Col (ret) John McManus is Professor of Emergency Medicine and EMS Fellowship Director, Georgia Regents University, Augusta, Georgia. John retired from the military with a combined Federal service record of 24 years from the US Army as a Medical Corps Officer and decorated combat veteran. He served as the Chief Medical Officer of the last combat support hospital in Baghdad.

6 Dr mark wilson Dr Mark Wilson is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Pre-Hospital Care Specialist working at both Imperial College (mainly St Mary's Major Trauma Centre) and on London's Air Ambulance. His specialist areas are acute brain injury (mostly traumatic brain injury) and its very early management. He also specialises in IT and has developed the Good Sam App. dr paul atkinson Dr Paul Atkinson is an Emergency Physician and Site Director for EM Research at Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, Professor, Department of EM and Chair, Department of EM Research Committee, Dalhousie University. He is also Co-Director, Emergency Critical Care Ultrasound, Canada.

7 Dr natalie may Dr Natalie May is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine with Paediatric Emergency Medicine, currently working at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. She has interests in medical education (especially communication and non-clinical skills development) and is a regular contributor at the St Emlyns blog and podcast. She is also the creator of the PEMLit project, reviewing current literature in Paediatric EM, and is proud to be part of the SMACC organising committee. She is a firm believer in FOAM, loves karaoke and is addicted to tea and running. mr hakon skogrand Håkon was originally a soldier/medic in the Norwegian Navy and has worked as a paramedic in the ambulance service in Bergen, Norway and is currently a medical student in Bergen.
