2 Think local, shop global Introducing the Global Currency Card. It s the re-loadable prepaid Visa card that can be used to make payments in multiple currencies either in person or online, wherever Visa cards are accepted. It s the simple, secure and convenient way to shop, whether online or overseas. The Global Currency Card is issued by Cuscal Limited ACN AFSL Westpac Banking Corporation ABN , AFSL and Australian credit licence acts as the distributor of the card only. The balance of any funds on the card are held by Cuscal and Cuscal is responsible for settling transactions but may outsource these functions to service providers.

4 Your money where you want it The Global Currency Card allows you to take control of your money. The card comes with Chip and PIN security and you pay no transaction fees when you make purchases in a currency loaded on your card. 1 So whether you re buying a pair of shoes in a Paris boutique, getting cash for the bus in Seattle or ordering from an online store at home, you can lock in your foreign exchange rates when you load funds onto your card. Available currencies You can load your card with up to 5 different currencies from these 11 available options. Australian Dollars (AUD) Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) Euros (EUR) Great British Pounds (GBP) South African Rand (ZAR) US Dollars (USD) Canadian Dollars (CAD) Japanese Yen (JPY) New Zealand Dollars (NZD) Thai Baht (THB) Singapore Dollars (SGD) 2

5 A world of security As a Visa Prepaid card, your Global Currency Card gives you the following benefits: Use your card wherever Visa cards are accepted around the world. Emergency assistance available 24/7. Use ATMs worldwide to withdraw cash from your preloaded currency wallets. Fees may apply. Chip and PIN security for protection. Visa Zero Liability, protecting you from fraudulent charges or unauthorised purchases. 2 Access to emergency funds may be arranged if you lose both your cards. 3

6 Ready to load your card? Online Banking Transfer funds via Online Banking. Your money will usually be available within 1 business day. BSB: Account Number: The 9-digit number located on the website westpac.com.au/globalcurrencycard Or Bpay Use your financial institution s internet (or phone) banking service to pay money into your card s Australian dollar wallet via BPAY. You will then need to go online and transfer your funds into the foreign currency wallets you want to use. Bpay Biller Code: Customer Reference Number: The 13-digit number on the back of your card Bpay transfers can take up to 3 business days to appear on your card, so make sure you allow plenty of time. Your financial institution may charge transaction fees for Bpay reloads. Or Westpac Branches You can deposit funds into your card s Australian dollar wallet at any Westpac branch using cash (Australian dollars). Your money will usually be available on the same day. The branch will be able to load different amounts directly into your foreign currency wallets for you, or you can just reload your AUD wallet then go online and move the funds to your other wallets later. 4

8 Managing your card Managing your account We ve made it easy for you to manage your money from anywhere, at any time. Simply visit the website at westpac.com.au/globalcurrencycard where you can: Check your balances Transfer money between your currency wallets Review your past purchases Change your PINs Check up to the minute exchange rates Managing your card on the go When you re on the go, simply download the Westpac Global Currency Card app from the App Store or Google Play. You can: Check your balance View your latest transactions Transfer money between your currency wallets Managing your currencies You can reload your Global Currency Card with up to 5 different currency wallets. If you set up a US dollar wallet, for example, when you buy something in US dollars the money will come out of your USD wallet. It s that simple. If there s not enough money in the USD wallet, we will draw the funds from one or more of your other wallets so you can complete your purchase. Foreign exchange rates will apply when you need to draw funds from additional wallets. 6

9 If you shop in a currency we do not support, the funds will be drawn from your AUD wallet. If your AUD wallet does not have a sufficient balance, we will draw funds from your other wallets so you can complete the purchase. Foreign exchange rates will apply when you need to draw funds from additional wallets. A Foreign Exchange Fee will be charged when you shop in a currency that is not supported by your wallets. Using ATMs You can check your card balance and withdraw cash from ATMs around the world. You will pay no fee for balance enquiries or withdrawals when you use: Westpac Group ATMs in Australia (Westpac, St.George, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA branded ATMs) Westpac s Global Alliance Partners ATMs around the world. (You will find a full list of these partners at westpac.com.au/globalcurrencycard) If you use a non-westpac Group ATM in Australia and non-global Alliance ATM overseas, fees will be applied as set out in the Product Disclosure Statement. Your complimentary back-up card Your back-up card is linked to the same card (and foreign currency wallet) balances as your primary card, but has a separate card number and PIN. So if your primary card is ever lost, damaged or stolen you can simply call us to cancel it and carry on using the back-up card in its place. It gives you the assurance that you won t be left in the lurch if something happens to your primary card. However, if you do happen to lose both your cards we can help you access emergency funds. Fees and charges will apply to emergency funds. 7

12 Frequently asked questions Is the Global Currency Card a credit card? No, it is a Visa Prepaid card, so you need to load money onto your card before you can use it. When you make a purchase or get cash from an ATM, the amount is deducted from your preloaded balance. How can I load or reload the card? You use Bpay or Transfer Funds via your financial institution s internet banking service or visit any Westpac branch and use Australian dollars cash. Can I use the card at ATMs? Yes, most ATMs will support balance enquiries and cash withdrawals. The balance displayed at the ATM will be in the currency of the country you are visiting and there are no cash advance fees on the Global Currency Card. Will I be charged for using an ATM? As long as you use Westpac Group ATMs in Australia, and Global Alliance ATMs overseas, you will pay no fees. If you use a non- Westpac Group ATM in Australia and non-global Alliance ATMs overseas, fees will be applied as set out in the Product Disclosure Statement. Can I use foreign currencies to load the card? No, only Australian dollar amounts can be transferred onto your card. What if I have money left on the card when I return from my trip? You can keep using your card in Australia to either shop online or make fee-free cash withdrawals from any Westpac Group ATM. If you want to transfer your foreign funds back into Australian dollars, simply go online or call our Customer Service Centre. What happens when the card expires? Your card s Expiry Date is printed on the front of your card. You can choose to close your card and have the remaining balance returned to you. In order to receive your remaining balance complete the closure form by calling Westpac can transfer any remaining balance into Australian dollars and pay it into whatever Australian bank account you nominate. 10

13 What if I need to dispute a transaction? If you suspect an error in your transaction history, please ask us about lodging a dispute form, or log into the website. Will I receive statements for my Global Currency Card? We will send you an to tell you when a statement is available. Statements showing your transactions are available on our website westpac.com.au/globalcurrencycard What if I need assistance with my Global Currency Card?
