Each LED iuminates a separate part of the road ahead meaning that by automaticay switching ights on and off, iumination is varied to suit traffic and road conditions. The InteiLux system cacuates which LED ights are activated and deactivated using additiona data such as ambient ight conditions, vehice speed, steering ange and when the indicators are used. For exampe, when the front camera system detects an oncoming vehice, the individua LED ights that woud dazze the oncoming driver are automaticay switched off and then switched back on once the vehice has passed.
