Quattra s Cloud Vision & Framework Value Data centers provide the foundation for the applications and services that organizations deliver, and companies need their IT facilities to be reliable, compliant and cost-effective. Efficient service management in data centers is essential both because of the mission-critical applications that data centers host, and due to the number of customers potentially affected by service outages or performance issues. IT departments must ensure that the people, processes and technology within their data centers operate at optimal levels and work as a cohesive unit. This enables delivery of seamless integration, efficiency and business alignment by: Optimizing virtualization processes to ensure the on-demand delivery of streamlined active content, to exceed your business needs now and in the future. Reducing resolution times across organizational silos, ensuring that the right information is presented with enhanced scalability and elasticity via dynamic, near real-time provisioning of resources. Extending the value of active centralized vision and strategy, to provide software and platforms through automated generation delivery models. Enabling informed and cost-effective decision-making through automated virtualization of networks. Quattra s Infrastructure as a Service Vision We believe Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a virtualized provision model, whether hybrid or confined, to reduce a clients IT operating costs. We engage with an organization that wants to outsource their equipment base used to support operations, including storage, servers and supporting hardware, as well as networking components, public and private. The service provider vision enables equipment typically owned by the client to be virtualized and moved, This

moves also the responsibility for housing, running and maintaining an environment if the client requires it. In these scenarios the client usually pays on a per-use basis. Major Important Characteristics and components of IaaS include: Utility computing service and billing model Automation of administrative tasks Dynamic environment capacity scaling Desktop virtualization Policy-based services Internet connectivity IaaS designed in accordance with Quattra s Cloud Vision & Framework provides a solid foundation for other layers of the cloud-computing model, which includes Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). Our IaaS Benefit and Value: Virtualized Server Infrastructure, Streaming Network Access, Abstracted Management Elastic Storage with Shared Access and Optimal Capacity Utilization Virtualization Layer, Provisioning On Demand Virtualized Networks, Virtual Overlay Transport, Seamless Encryption, Scalable Routing Quattra s Platform as a Service Vision Platform as a Service (PaaS) is a way to host or rent application services space, hardware, operating systems, storage and network capacity over any medium whether corporate WAN/LAN Hosted and Public Internet environments. The service delivery model allows the customer to utilize virtualized servers and associated services for running existing applications or developing and testing new ones. Platform as a Service (PaaS) is an outgrowth of Software as a Service (SaaS), a software

distribution model in which hosted software applications are made available to customers over the any medium, primarily the Public Internet. PaaS has several advantages for developers and client users with enhanced operating system features can be changed and upgraded frequently ondemand. This allows for diverse geographically distributed access which can work seamlessly to deliver a high end customer experience. We see the future and vision of virtualization and know where services can be obtained from diverse sources that cross international boundaries where initial and ongoing costs can be reduced by the use of infrastructure services from a single vendor rather than maintaining multiple hardware facilities that often perform duplicate functions or suffer from incompatibility problems. Major benefits are: Application Containers (Enterprise Middleware, Messaging Systems, Transaction Monitors) Database Management Systems, ETL Tools, Data Reporting and Analytics Virtual Runtime Environments Operating Systems, Monitoring Tools Quattra s Software as a Service Vision Software as a Service, commonly known as SaaS is a software delivery method that provides access to software and its functions remotely as primarily a Web-based offering. Software as a Service allows organizations to access business functionality at a cost typically less than paying for licensed applications since SaaS pricing is based on a monthly fee and access is based on a any medium, anyplace, anytime philosophy. Also, because the software is hosted internally or remotely, users don't need to invest in additional infrastructure to receive the experience desired. Software as a Service removes the need for organizations to handle the installation, set-up and operational upkeep and maintenance for many of the hosted applications tasks. Software as a Service in a

majority of the cases is tied to Storage as a Service,SaaS is a term used to describe a software and combined storage model where a business or organization (the client) rents or leases storage space from a hosted environment or provider. Data is transferred from the client to the service provider via any medium and the client would then access their stored data using software provided by the storage provider. The software is used to perform common tasks related to storage, such as data backups and data transfers. We focus on providing the strategy and vision for: Client Engagement (Wikis, Blogs, Enterprise Portals, Messaging Channels) Staff Productivity (Cloud Based Tools) Business Enablement (Sales, Marketing, Customer Care and Support) Enterprise Applications (Business and Operations Support Systems) Quattra s Services on Demand Vision Services made available to users on demand via the Internet or corporate environment from a cloud computing provider's servers as opposed to being provided from a company's own on-premises physical services server environment. Cloud services are designed to provide easy, scalable access to applications, resources and services, and are fully managed by a cloud services provider. A cloud service can dynamically scale to meet the needs of its users, and because the service provider supplies the hardware and software necessary for the service, there is no need for a company to provision or deploy its own resources or allocate IT staff to manage the service. Examples of cloud services include online data storage and backup solutions, Web-based services, hosted office suites and document collaboration services, database processing, managed technical support services and more. Services open up many variations and can expand exponentially anywhere, any place over any medium:

Telephony On-demand Services Storage On-demand Services, such as File Sharing Application On-demand Services, such as E-Learning Financial On-demand Services Encryption On-demand Services Key Benefits Increased access and availability leading to the highest level of customer satisfaction Reduced service environment footprint on the organization technology infrastructure Enhanced security with reduced risk Cost-effective sustainability of regulatory and corporate compliance certifications
