5 Friday is the First Friday of the Month The Anointing of the Sick will take place at the Mass, February 3 rd in the church. Those wishing to be anointed should sit in any front pew with relatives or friends seated behind them in the second row. Fast and Abstinence for Vocations: Please offer prayers and your fast and abstinence sacrifice for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. This month we ask that you pray especially for: Michael Schreck, Jr, Ben Rogers and Cruz Gallegos, all 4 th year college seminarians at Conception Seminary. Blood Drive Monday, February 13 th St. Ann now offers CDs to enrich your faith from Lighthouse Media. The kiosk is located in the upstairs gathering space. This was made possible through the Women s Club. Stop by and pick up a CD. The minimal cost of $3 is a replacement fee so new CDs on a variety of topics can replenish current titles. Who Am I To Judge? Responding to Relativism with Love and Logic Discussing moral issues with family and friends can be a challenge in a culture that strongly promotes the idea that there is no objective truth. Speaking from a wealth of personal experience, renowned author and theologian Dr. Edward Sri provides 5 keys to enable Christians to oppose with logic and love what Pope Benedict XVI called the dictatorship of relativism. He also clarifies the proper understanding of what it means to judge, and the importance of making good judgments. Are you an Adult Catholic but have Never Received Confirmation? Join us on Thursday, February 16 at 6:00 PM in the Aquinas Room for an introductory session on the Sacrament of Confirmation and living out the Catholic Faith as adults. - If you consider yourself a candidate for Confirmation, please register online by visiting our Confirmation website: If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please contact Andrew Lynch for more information: (913) ~ alynch@stannpv.org In less than 45 minutes, you can make a big contribution to cancer and trauma patients across our metro area. Make an appointment online to donate blood at www. savealifenow.org or call Phil Needham at for an appointment. For Catholic Lawyers St. Thomas More Society's "Conversations on Law and Religion" Feb. 9th, 7:00 PM at the Centennial Room at the KU Union Join the St. Thomas More Society and other prominent members of the legal community in a conversation about the relationship between law and religion.
