The result was the production of 3 leaflets. These were funded by FONS. Now gone on to produce similar information on Palliative Care. 20, grant has been secured from MacMillian to run a Level 3 course at Keele University (info from S.C.read@keele.ac.uk) Book written Palliative Care and Learning Disability edited by Sue Reed. See also Badgers Parting Gift by. Is an excellent book Ann Brown recounted her experience of working in a small nursing home and providing palliative care. Julie Day and Susan Miller shared their experience at teaching the junior doctors/medical students. Susan is interviewed and gives her medical history; feedback is then given back to them.
