3 Background WHO Analysis on global chronic malnutrition with the financial support of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (36 countries contributing to 90% global burden), and participation of SNU and SCN. Invitation by WHO to attend 35 SCN Meeting and Landscape Analysis Meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam, on March, Acceptance by the Guatemalan government to attend the meetings Commitment by Guatemala to participate in this initiative and organize the mission s visit. Mutual agreement to conduct the mission in Guatemala from June 9-14, 2008
