4 Adoption of the Living LAB approach Creation of virtual labs where different private and public subjects can interact and experiment innovative applications and solutions focused on RRM RES technologies: Renewable Energy Sources RUE: Rational Use of Energy MOB: Sustainable Mobility Systems EnergyViLLab project is thus a "facilitator," an incubator of ideas, a mediator for innovation, aiming to draw useful insights and make proposals for new participatory policies of ecosustainable development.

5 THE OBJECTIVES Establishment of 10 EnergyViLLabs (Living Labs focused on the application of RRM) and their gradual recognition within the ENoLL network (European Network of Living Labs); Increased number of RRM initiatives in the cross-border territory, accompanied by awareness-raising and information activities Establishment of a cross-border network, which facilitates the exchange of information, cooperation and development of joint RRM projects. 6 Living Lab ecosystem for experimentation and co-creation with real users in real life environments, where the end users together with researchers, firms and public institutions jointly explore, design and validate new and innovative products, services, solutions and business models with the support and usage of ICT. user-centered, open-innovation ecosystem, often operating in a territorial context (e.g. city, region), integrating concurrent research and systemic innovation processes within a public-private-people partnership.

7 UP FAMNIT - SME ViLLab Main Objective to increase energy efficiency of houses and consequently reduce the air pollution in the region, by providing a platform of SMEs and information to residents about how to retrofit their existing home or how to build an energy-efficient new home

8 SME ViLLab - Focus The SME Villab will focus on energy efficiency of houses and healthy living environment that can be achieved with the usage of wood. The SME Villab will also provide the contact point with other Villabs and therefore offer the information how to improve the energy efficiency with other activities, like the use of renewable energy technologies.

9 SME ViLLab - Actions promote energy efficiency of residential houses, educate the citizens how they can reduce the environmental impact, provide a list of good practices of energy efficient homes, promote the use of thermal envelops, high quality windows, heating system by renewable energy, etc. offer to the citizens the platform of SMEs, experienced service professionals
