23 Study Costs Items Tuition fee for full-time research postgraduate programs Budget HK42,100 per annum Accommodation (per month) Utility charges (water, electricity, gas) Textbooks, meals, transportation, clothing etc. HK3,000-4,000 per month HK400 per month HK5,000 per month Exchange rate: 1 HK$ ~ 8 INR

24 Accommodation On-Campus Housing Priority given to non-local students in their first two years of study Hall places allocated subject to room availability Single Rooms $25,000- $29,000 per residential year* Double Rooms $20,000- $22,000 per residential year* (*about 10 months) Off-campus Housing Students may rent their own accommodation in nearby areas. The rental cost is slightly higher than that of on-campus housing. Rental ranges from $7,500 to $12,000 per month for a two-bedroom apartment depending on the environment, location, view and accessibility.
