2 PROGRESSION AND GRADUATION RNBS Program Progression 1. A grade of C or higher is to be earned in each core curriculum and guided electives course. 2. The student must achieve a GPA of 2.75 or higher by the end of the second eight week semester after entering the program. 3. If the student s GPA drops below 2.75 during their course of study, the student may have up to two consecutive eight week semesters to bring their GPA up to the acceptable level of A NUR course may be repeated once. Per SCC guidelines, the repeated grade will be the grade noted on the transcript. Transfer A request to transfer upper division course credits should be submitted to the program coordinator. A maximum of 30% of the required nursing major credit hours may be considered for transfer. All transfer requests are independently evaluated. Graduation Requirements Successful completion or transfer of all courses totaling a minimum of 124 credit hours in the RNBS Program (see curriculum plan), a minimum over all GPA of 2.75 and payment of all tuition and fees. According to the SCC Catalogue, in no case will a degree be awarded with less than 25% of the coursework taken from St. Catharine College.

3 ADMISSION PROCEDURES RNBS Program The Application Complete the RNBS Admission Application which can be obtained from the Nursing office or from the Nursing Web Page [1] The Applicant The applicant is required to hold an Associate Degree with a Major in Nursing with at least 60 semester hours of credit from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university. Registered Nurses with a Diploma will be considered on an individual basis. List the name of the college or university that granted your associate degree below.
