2 Cloud Computing ist die grosse Veränderung in der ICT Cloud Computing ist in aller Munde: als neuartige Technologie, als nächste Generation des Internets, als fundamentale Veränderung der gesamten IT-Landschaft und als vielversprechende Chance für neue Geschäftsideen und Wertschöpfungsketten. 2

4 Definition Wiki: Es gibt unterschiedliche Arten von Cloud-Computing, eine mögliche Gliederung ist der sogenannte technische Cloud-Stack, mit drei Schichten, in der obere Schichten auf den unteren Schichten aufbauen können, es aber nicht müssen: Infrastruktur Plattform - Anwendung Jede Schicht stellt hier einen Grad an Abstraktion dar. Auf diese Art können auch die unterschiedlichen Typen von Clouds klassifiziert werden. The NIST* definition lists five essential characteristics of cloud computing: ondemand self-service, broad network access, resource pooling, rapid elasticity or expansion, and measured service. It also lists three "service models" (software, platform and infrastructure), and four "deployment models" (private, community, public and hybrid) that together categorize ways to deliver cloud services. The definition is intended to serve as a means for broad comparisons of cloud services and deployment strategies, and to provide a baseline for discussion from what is cloud computing to how to best use cloud computing. * NIST National Institute of Standards and Technology 4
