1 S$ isavvy Savings Account Application Form ELIGIBILITY S$ isavvy Savings Account is available as a personal account. To open an account, you need to: Be at least 18 years of age Be an existing Maybank Malaysia customer Place a minimum deposit of S$500* ACCOUNT OPENING REQUIREMENTS To open a S$ isavvy Savings Account with Maybank Singapore, please visit any of the 20 Maybank Malaysia Branches listed at the end of this Application Form, bringing with you your NRIC for verification purposes. The following documents are required to complete your application: 1. Original S$ isavvy Savings Account Application Form duly completed and signed 2. Photocopy of your NRIC (front and back) 3. Initial deposit in the form of a SGD Demand Draft made out in your name, and is obtainable from any of our 20 listed Maybank Malaysia Branches For the opening of a joint account, both you and your joint applicant are required to be present at the Branch. Your joint applicant will also need to provide a photocopy of his/her NRIC (front and back). A single demand draft bearing both applicants names is acceptable. Important notes: Please allow up to 14 working days for account opening. Applications NOT accompanied with the required documents or with incomplete information will cause a delay in processing. Note: Singapore dollar deposits ("insured deposit") placed by an individual (excluding sole proprietorships and partnerships), charity or such persons prescribed in the Deposit Insurance Act 2005 (the "Act") with the Bank will be insured pursuant to the terms of the Act and up to the amounts provided for in the Act.
