13 Remarks Maximum rate of /(cm 2 s) in central region (r=5cm) for pp at 15 GeV/c; More to be expected from pau fixed eventrate: s 1 DPM contains only hadronic (el. & inel.) interactions relatively more rate at low angles expected GEMs had no structure, gas mixture was plain Argon Simulation done with beam pipe and MVD, no tracker Readout resolution requirements can be matched to the projected track paths
14 Remarks for the software Many similarities to the MVD forward disks: Strip or pixel like digitization, clusterfinding & reconstruction Data classes & Parmeter database. Someone needed to create the Interface to the Kalman etc. and the Digi & Reco code I recommond to reuse these structures. Identified ToDo list (ordered) 1 Point smearing task & plug to tracking/genfit 2 More realistic geometry description (passive material) 3 Digitization & hit reco I will not do this, but I ll be there to help.
