1 application for undergraduate admission MOUNT ALOYSIUS COLLEGE THE HORIZON IS JUST YOUR STARTING LINE General Instructions and Information Please complete this undergraduate application in its entirety, then send the completed application, along with a $30 application fee (made payable to Mount Aloysius College), to the Office of Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions at the address listed to the left. The application and fee may be sent from your home or your high school guidance/counseling office. Please make sure you request your high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores to be sent with the application. Students applying five years after high school graduation do not need to submit standardized test scores. Mount Aloysius College offers the ACT once a month. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible during their senior year. Nursing, Pre-Nursing and Health Studies applicants are encouraged to apply by January 1 for priority consideration. Health programs fill very quickly. Transfer Admissions In addition to the information above, transfer students must send high school transcripts and transcripts from any college or university attended. Transfer courses are reviewed on a credit-by-credit basis. Associate degree holders are reviewed for automatic junior standing in Baccalaureate Programs. International Admissions International students must consult with the Coordinator of International Admissions and understand policies and procedures as set forth by the Department of Naturalization and Immigration. All secondary and college/university transcripts from other countries must be evaluated and converted by an embassy or professional organization to the United States Academic Scale. Scholarships and Financial Aid All students applying for financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Mount Aloysius College offers grants and scholarships to each student as they submit academic credentials to the institution. Pre-awarding takes place as students inquire and submit academic credentials. Mount Aloysius College offers Mercy Presidential Scholarships on a competitive basis. Please refer to the college web site at or the scholarship/financial aid pamphlet for more information. Residence and Student Life Mount Aloysius College provides various contemporary residence halls on campus. Freshmen and sophomores are required to live on-campus unless a student is living with parents or legal guardians within the local area of the College.
