The PAs assist in the operating room, cover the floors, perform ER consults and work in the outpatient office. All PAs are trained and supervised to perform bedside procedures such as placement of intracranial pressure monitors, lumbar punctures, lumbar drains and external ventriculostomies. The position is for two nights a week covering our inpatient service and one day shift usually in the operating room.
