Welcome to the Triton College Job Posting Service! Thank you for your interest in hiring Triton College students. This handout includes an explanation of our free job posting service, College Central.

1 Welcome to the Triton College Job Posting Service! Thank you for your interest in hiring Triton College students. This handout includes an explanation of our free job posting service, College Central.com/Triton and the job posting forms you need to use it. You can either post a position yourself at or have a member of the Career Service s Staff post it for you. The Career Services Center can be reached at , Ext careerservices@triton.edu for assistance in this process Monday Thursday, 8:00 am to 7:30 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Triton College is part of a consortium of eleven Northern Illinois Community College Career Centers that share job postings and was designed with the philosophy of employer choice. This means: One stop listing. You will choose the College Central community college(s) through which you want your job listing targeted. This means completing just one listing form to reach several recruiting markets at once for NO CHARGE! Desktop on-line listing. You may enter and maintain your College Central listings from your desktop if you have access to the World Wide Web. If you cannot post your own listing, please fill out the Employer Registration for Direct Job Entry form and return it to the Career Services Center via (careerservices@triton.edu) or fax ( ) to obtain a user name and password. Protection from unsolicited job seekers. For job seekers, College Central is a passwordprotected internet system which means your job opportunities are not being broadcasted to the whole world only to your targeted collegiate market. College Central can provide you with new advertising outlets to give exposure to your company s employment opportunities through strategies such as banner ads, seen by every job seeker who logs onto College Central. 2 Posting a Job At Triton College: The Employer Help Sheet We appreciate your interest in employing Triton College students and alumni. Our recruitment services involve a cooperative effort with College Central Network, Inc. Follow the instructions below to access our FREE online job posting and resume search system. Step 1. Please register in order to post jobs and conduct resume searches. An address is required to register. You may contact our office if you do not have access to at: (708) , ext Go to the URL listed at the top of this page: Select the Employers icon. Read the information on the second screen. Choose the link for Register Now. Enter registration info and create an Access ID. (If the ID you choose is already in our database, add a letter(s) or number(s) or an underscore.) Once your registration is reviewed, you will receive an notification confirming your Access ID and informing you of your Password. Feel free to call our office if you would like to follow up on your registration. Note: The Help Page link will give you detailed directions and other useful information. Step 2. Using the CCN Recruitment Services for Employers once registered: Go to and choose the Employers icon. Click the link for Online Services. Enter your Access ID and assigned Password. From your account page, you may: 1. Update or Review Registration Information Please keep your information up-to-date for the accuracy of our records. 2. Post a New Job Please furnish sufficient detail to make your postings attractive to students/alumni. You may cut and paste job descriptions. If posting part-time jobs, please list hours required. Please list the city or area where the job is located to aid jobseekers. You can edit the resume submission deadline date to best fit the job. Be sure to list an address in the contact information to receive resumes via the system. This also helps us track student resume submissions.

3 Once you have posted a job, you can Post, Edit, Repost or Expire Job Postings Post new job opportunities - it s unlimited and free. Edit job postings as needed. Repost expired jobs if they are still open or become open again. Expire jobs when they have been filled so they are removed from view. Once reviewed for this feature, you can easily Search Student and Alumni Resumes The more criteria you choose, the more limited your results will be. Use the toolbar Back button to exit out of resumes opened in Internet Explorer.
