2 INTRODUCTION The Studio Ossola works in the field of structural and civil engineering in general, specialising in the coordination and supervision of the various phases of the construction process, from the conception of the business idea to the inspection of the works, from the planning and design throughout the operative phases. In addition to the owner, Professor Francesco Ossola, the current staff now consists of nine qualified civil engineers, as well as administrative personnel, with a number of selected, highly-qualified external consultants. 3 PROF. ENG. FRANCESCO OSSOLA Prof. Ing. Francesco Ossola, was born in Settimo Torinese on July 22, 1947 and now resides in Moncalieri, Strada del Redentore n. 19, Tax ID number: SSL FNC 47L22 I703Q, with an office in Turin, Via Camerana n. 4, tel , fax , Academic and professional activities; Engineer Francesco Ossola was born in Settimo Torinese (To) on July 22, 1947; He graduated in Civil Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in 1971 with full marks. - He has been working as a qualified engineer since 1972 when he registered with the Ordine degli Ingegneri di Torino e Provincia (Turin Order of Engineers), n.2738, February He is a tenured professor at the Politecnico di Torino in Construction Ergotechnics, which is the study of the transfer of methods typical of industrial production to the construction sector. P r e s e n t a t i o n o f S t u d i o O s s o l a - From 1992 to until 1994 is the Assistant of the Special Commissioner Prof. Rodolfo Zich of National Electronic Institute "Galileo Ferraris" of Turin. - From July 1994 until February 1997, he was the coordinator of the Turin Polytechnic Project Quality Management Nucleus, which is responsible for controlling the completeness and the quality of the project to double the size of the Turin Polytechnic into the adjacent ex-o.g.r. areas. - He has been the Process and Project Manager (R.U.P.) from February 1997 until 2011 of the abovementioned Turin Polytechnic Progetto Raddoppio (Polytechnic expansion project) [total cost 150,000,000.00]. Please see page N 24 In this role he managed all the contracts conducted by the Politecnico di Torino in that period and has deepened all existing regulations and laws of Public Works. 3

4 - He is a member of the teaching staff for the Construction Ergotechnics Ph.D. program at the Milan Polytechnic. - From 2012 is the Consultant Office for the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sport for the realization of the football stadiums. Please see page N 31 As the manager of the Studio Ossola, he has been working in the fields specified below since 1972: - planning, site management, and inspection and testing of concrete metal, and special foundations structures; - Project Management, quality control or the coordination and systematic control of construction interventions, both in the planning and design stages and the actual construction, in order to reach the objectives fixed by the client within the estimated costs and time frame. 21 OLYMPIC VILLAGE TURIN 2006TURIN Project and site supervision of the concrete structures Total amount of the constructions: ,00 Designers: Camerana& Partners O y m p i c V i l l a g e T u r i n The project for the Athletes Olympic Village on site of the former (MOI) Fruit and Vegetable General Gross Market was declared winner in November 2002 in an international design competition. Complexity is the most relevant feature of the project, coming from the division of the Village into several different sections and from having been developed by an international team of architects, coordinated by Benedetto Camerana, coming from different European cities. The winning design group is formed by Benedetto Camerana (team leader), Albert Constantin - AIA Architectes, DerossiAssociati, Hugh Dutton - HDA, Giorgio Rosental and Steidle und Partners. After winning the competition, the team was joined by Diener+Diener, Atelier Krischanitz, Ortner+Ortner, Hilmer+Sattler as consultant architects. 21

28 FACULTIES OF LAW AND POLITICAL SCIENCEOF TURIN Project and site supervision of the metallic and concrete structures Total amount of the constructions: ,00 Designers: Norman Foster and GiugiaroArchitettura The project envisages the completion of two main blocks, one for the unified library and one to house the faculties of Law and Political Science, with lecture halls on the first two floors and the departments on the third and fourth. The different parts of the project are linked by the unifying sign of roofing with a curved profile, which acts as protection from both sun and rain. Built as an elevated tensile structure above the attic of the top storey, it also conceals the machinery for the utilities.
