10 National Initiatives CPMS (Central Portfolio Management System) CPMS will: Provide the NIHR Clinical Research Network with a national information system to capture high quality study data Capture data on research delivery activity e.g. participant identification, recruitment and follow-up, anywhere and everywhere in the health research environment Produce reports to support the performance management and delivery of the networks
11 National Initiatives CPMS (Central Portfolio Management System) The system will replace the existing UKCRN Portfolio Database and absorb the functionality of the Interim Industry Tracker (IIT) and the Industry Application Gateway (IAG) The system will be the primary vehicle and technical solution that enables the service to continuously improve and the networks to innovate their operations The system will be the data source for the Open Data Platform (the overarching reporting tool for the NIHR)
