2 Who we are ZENON is an international well-known company created in the early seventies by two French engineers. First steps in Paris 1972, three years later in Willstaett, Germany, the company was specialized in development and distribution of products for the film and video market. In 1995, a research and development pool was created, aiming at the elaboration of a new digital radio concept for On Air radio broadcasting: The All In One Product range was born. Since this time, our company have equipped over 1000 radio stations around the world. With the great success, in 1998 the company split in two companies, ZENON-MEDIA and ZENON. From now on, ZENON-MEDIA together with it s Swiss sister ONYX MEDIA regroup all audio/video software development and related activities. With a crew of 30 people and fully owned facilities in Germany and Switzerland, ZENON-MEDIA has grown to become one of the most successful companies in it s field, with offices in Germany, France, Malaysia and Service Partners all around the world.

With ALL IN ONE AUDIO we give the heart a modern, graphically oriented look which is very fast to understand. Full configurable access to all content, playlists in AUTO, SEMI AUTO or MANUAL mode and instant player makes it easy to respond to the requirement of a modern radio show. ALL IN ONE AUDIO supports the DJ interactive! With information from the own redaction or the internet fully automatically, well designed and customizable. All information and changes inside the players are synchronized immediately on network, so every other studio or operator knows exactly the On-air status what s playing, what s next etc. With the automatic database exchange and direct links to all operators you bring In the latest from everywhere and this until the last second before On-air. Playout never was so easy! DJs can fully focus on it s mission. Frequency splitting for commercials, news, jingles or promos, meta data for DAB(+), mobile Apps or the website, everything will be automatically generated. 6 ALL IN ONE AUDIO TECHNICAL CONCEPT Design the network with our open technical concept exact to the stations requirements. From a single server concept to clusters everything is possible. Also usage of virtual servers for ALL IN ONE AUDIO no problem. With the unique ServeSwitch technology the switch over will be seamless. ZENON-MEDIA products runs with different databases, e.g. MSSQL or MySQL. Free choose of sound cards - ALL IN ONE AUDIO uses the ASIO driver model, so choose from a large selection of soundcards (e.g. Lynx Audio, Digigram, MAudio ) incl. Audio over IP (e.g. AES67, LiveWire, WheatNET, Dante, Ravenna). With the unique Zenon Device Manager it is open to use any kind of mixing desk. We support LifeWire, WheatNET, SAS, Ember+, DHD and GPIO models. The playout solution supports a wide range of sound formats as well. It is possible to mix the different formats (e.g. mp2, mp3, wave, bwf ) in the database without conversion. Other audio formats like flac or ccitt can be used with converting as well as videos (extract audio), only by drag and drop into the applications. All modules are Unicode, so it supports multi languages, even Chinese, Hindi or Arabic characters. Moreover the front end applications can be translated in any language. The easy Licensing policy of ZENON-MEDIA with it s shared license model allows to use all Modules on each Workstation, exact where it s needed at this time! ALL IN ONE AUDIO has tools for Editing, Music and Commercial Scheduling, but it can also linked to 3rd party products like Music Master,, RCS Selector, Amily, MediaSales, Audition and many more!

Besides from server security like Master/ Backup or clustered servers, ZENON-MEDIA integrate a lot of security tools in it s software and is able to cover a wide range of hardware issues like server, network or workstation malfunctions. Some Examples: Network issue: On-air workstation recognize the issue and switch to a LOCAL mode, but keeps on playing the scheduled items incl. all commercials! Server issue: On-air workstation recognize the issue and switch seamless to a backup server. In case, no backup is reachable, workstation goes in LOCAL mode. On-air workstation issue: Backup Studio or Emergency workstation recognize the issue and goes On-air, automatically. Mixer/audio flow issue: Silent Detect recognize the issue and switch an emergency player on air, which have exact the same playlist as the on-air studio incl. the latest changes. Complete Shut Down: Through the ZENON-MEDIA cloud solution, in our datacenter will start an emergency playout and stream the program via internet to any break out point. With the same content like schedules and up to the latest change.

11 VISUAL RADIO CONCEPT ZENON-MEDIA VISUAL RADIO is an additional module for the ALL IN ONE AUDIO package that provides the possibility to playout VIDEO in sync with the on air playlist. Use the full power of SEND and control in real time the video playout channel. Connect also video cameras during the live show from studio and mix the show automatically. Give instead only audio a video addon to the web stream or mobile radio app. Use the produce show for indoor presentation on screen in the lobby, reception or show room, and this in highest quality up to 4K in a big presentation. A basic package is delivered and can be customized. ZENON DEVICE MANAGER is controlling the video rendering, so the video transition, effect duration position of object, logo insertion, ticker overlay, social information overlay can be adjusted. If needed, manual control of video is also possible to do a manual editing for fine tuning. VISUAL RADIO is a radio product, It s not distributing the workflow of the radio show and will only add video or live camera content at a automatically way. All video items such as music videos or commercials are connected to an audio item inside the database. While the music or commercial are broadcasted on air, the related video will be streamed. Include meta on air information like author / song, logo and text insertion. The video will be fully synchronized to the on-air content. So it s starts and stops simultaneously with the song played in radio. In Live Shows such as talk shows or talks with studio guests, multiple cameras may be connect, so the video stream user can see the person who is talking. The crossfade will be generate automatically over a modulation control module within ZENON DEVICE MANAGER. Also picture in picture mode is possible. Connection to the social media networks is also established. Text messaged from e.g. Facebook or twitter can be displayed in the video stream. And of course, the station can control the displayed content.

12 VISUAL RADIO HOW IT WORKS Download video from any platform in AVI, MP4, H264, MPEG-2. WMV or QuickTime. Direct download from websites over download manager is also possible. Just drag & drop the file into database. It will generate the audio file if there is no related inside database (audio grabbing from video) and will link the video file. As soon as the audio is played on air in the radio show, the dropped video is pushed in the video channel. There is no need to play the same audio and video file! The same time, the video can be displayed on an external display, streamed to any video platform using e.g. RTMP streaming, and many more. In live speaking situations such as talk shows, audio levels from microphones will be used to control external cameras, to insert the stream on top of video in full view for presenters, moderators and guests. As soon as modulation is recognized at a mic, camera will show the talking person. Multi view cams and Pic in Pic is also supported. Several camera systems can be chosen as input device. From cheap USB cameras up to 4k input devices connected as HD-SDI or HDMI. As input device, Blackmagic boards and AJA devices are supported as well. Live Broadcasting from an outside event? Just use an IP stream or IP camera as input device. Controlled from the codec fader channel or trigger, mixed with your live studio content such as news breaks.

13 VISUAL RADIO HOW IT WORKS Produce VIDEO PODCASTS while your mic is on. All video in s and out s can be recorded and bound with the meta data stored as a video podcast. Controlled by Mic red light, modulation control or time window in several formats at the same time. Listeners can participate in the broadcast while using SOCIAL NETWORKS. Posts, profile images and pictures will be displayed in video stream. As direct post or, of course, controlled and filtered by you. Queue rotation is also possible to show the last incoming news. Important information can be captured from a HIDDEN MAIL account and displayed as a ticker on top of the screen. 14 RADIO CLOUD SERVICE In a modern, globalized word, the content producing is more and more decentralized. The concept of content delivery must reflect this requirements. The CLOUD solution will manage this. Independent of where the content is produced, all members can access the same content. As cloud drive and as well as cloud database. So shows can be produced in home office or outside the station at the mobile workstation. Also data exchange between different radio stations can be managed by a cloud solution. This will reduce the internet traffic of each station and the time for synchronization. And it will be SECURE - all data exchange is encrypted and s t o r e d i n t h e D e l t a l i s Datacenter in the Swiss Alps.

15 DATACENTER SERVICE Together with our partner DELTALIS we offer a high secure data center service. The Datacenter is located in Switzerland, hosted by a unique facility deep inside a granite mountain. ZENON-MEDIA offers special broadcast services inside this datacenter. SAFE DATA is a mirror of your important radio data, e.g. audio and meta data files, databases, business files, disposition databases and many more. Also ZENON-MEDIA provides a unique Broadcast Backup Solution. In case the radio station is not able to playout, a web stream will be initiated inside the datacenter to provide an IPstream to the transmitter. With the original playlist, including all scheduled commercials, jingles, voice tracks or production elements. With a special access playlist can be modified by an responsible - to add produced content, change playlists. So even the station is Off Air (e.g. because of a power cut), the station will be able to playout! ZENON-MEDIA provides also a STREAM SERVICE for internet radio stations, for simulcast broadcasting or as sub stream. Inside the stream it is possible to add different commercials, jingles or news as well as localized content.
