11 BayTech & Energy Frontiers International Building Relationships for Future Collaborations Energy Frontiers International's members are grateful to BayTech for organizing a very memorable and informative site visit to the Johnson Space Center. EFI's member companies have been exploring the frontiers of energy technology for more than three decades, and the capabilities of NASA's JSC are relevant and potentially of interest to them. EFI's site visits over the years have typically been to facilities worldwide that represent unique, state-of-the-art, and first-of-a-kind capabilities and innovation, and the JSC visit was very much in this tradition. Increasingly abundant supplies of low-cost natural gas are driving new investments in emerging energy technologies, and bringing some interesting energy development work back to the Houston area. The JSC appears to be well-placed to take advantage of this dynamic shift, and their team provided a compelling case for taking a close look at how their capabilities, facilities, and know-how can be of value to companies in this sector.
