15 CONTINUING EDUCATION GUIDELINES Daikin University provides a certificate of completion that includes the number of PDH (Professional Development Hours) for all attendees of qualified training courses. Florida In the state of Florida, Daikin University has been approved as a provider of continuing education for engineers; specific courses have been approved for continuing education. Louisiana In the state of Louisiana, Daikin University has been approved as a provider of continuing education for engineers. North Carolina In the state of North Carolina, Daikin University has been approved as a provider of continuing education for Professional Engineers and Surveyors. New York (PIE, Practicing Institute of Engineering) In the state of New York, specific courses have been approved for continuing education for engineers. Remaining States States not listed above currently do not have a Continuing Education requirement for the State Board of Engineers. As with all training courses, Daikin University requires prior notification of any event that a Certificate of Completion is requested. All Daikin University certificates will indicate the Professional Development Hours (PDH) of the course completed. Professional Development Hours (PDH): For every hour of (training) time, 1 (one) Professional Development Hour will be given. Every 10 PDH = 1 CEU (continuing education unit).
