6 Pricing and Value We are conscious of the need of our clients for fee arrangements which deliver value, transparency, clarity and flexibility. We use different strategies for different work types - each with the prime aim of creating value, reducing cost to you and delivering operational efficiencies. Value The hourly rates that we will work with have been fixed following a competitive procurement process. They will deliver value for money. Transparency We recognise your need to have certainty and transparency with regard to your costs while at the same time being able to access a support package that is flexible to your needs. With this position in mind, we are always happy to discuss our charging basis with you to achieve a solution which delivers your requirements. In addition, sharing a costed transaction plan with you (as well as regular updates of actual activity) will also facilitate transparency as to how we have resourced the tasks involved and the time we have spent in carrying them out. As such, should the scope of our role change, you will be able to have total visibility of the costing implications. Clarity At the outset of an instruction we will propose a capped fee where possible that has been calculated after dividing the instruction into its constituent stages and the individual tasks within each stage. We will share this with you in order to facilitate joint monitoring of activity against the original plan. At DWF the whole ethos is around partnership, which starts with understanding your business.
