8 TouchNet Requirements for Banner 8 Customers upgrading to the SunGard Higher Education Banner 8 Unified Product Release must install TouchNet Banner Connect release If you are already running Banner Connect release or higher when you upgrade to Banner 8, you must still reinstall the Banner Connect stored procedures after your Banner system upgrade. NOTE: TouchNet Webinar on March 31, 2009 and April 2, 2009 to discuss the PA-DSS (Payment Application Data Security Standards).

9 Technical Update GNU and ICU Requirements Using version 3.81 for ICU Updated make files for HP-UX and Solaris will be provided with V8 release Banner Security Enhancements New Forms GSADSEC Banner Distributed Security GSADSUM Distributed Security User Maintenance Availability of Technical Reference Manual (TRM) Will be made available on the ftp server location will be provided WIMBA session for V8 Security will be scheduled after V8 is released

10 SGHE Support plans SunGard HE recently announced they will be extending support of Banner version 7.x through September 1, 2010.
