Exceptions to Self-Certification of Education Credentials 1. All Health Science and Automotive Technology programs require proof of final education credential, to be considered for acceptance. Applicants should carefully review specific admission requirements for their program or interest. 2. International Applicants seeking an F-1 visa are required to submit proof of final education credentials. 3. Educational documents from schools outside of New England must be submitted. All international documents must be translated into English and evaluated into United States standards by a certified credentials agency. 3

Many students, however, miss out because they do not think they are eligible and do not complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To apply for financial aid, students must complete the FAFSA available on the Federal Financial Aid website, Financial aid can be used to pay for tuition, fees, books, transportation and other educational expenses. We strongly encourage you to complete the FAFSA. If you need help with your financial aid application or college financial planning, the MassBay Financial Aid Office has counselors who can assist you.
