1 Jim Priest is a husband, dad, attorney and ordained deacon in the Church of the Nazarene. He has practiced law in Oklahoma for thirty years and has been consistently recognized as one of the best lawyers in the nation. In the three decades Jim has practiced law, he has tried numerous civil litigation trials in the state and federal courts and has argued many cases before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. From 1980 to 2005, Jim served as an attorney and director at one of Oklahoma's leading law firms, McKinney & Stringer. During his time there, Jim founded and led the employment services division of the firm, acting as an attorney as well as a supervisor. He also served on the Executive Committee and the Management Committee of the seventy lawyer firm. From 2005 to 2010 Jim was an attorney and partner of the law firm Whitten Burrage (formerly Whitten, Nelson et al.) In 2010 Jim ran for Oklahoma Attorney General and in February 2011 became the full time Executive Director of the nonprofit organization FATE (Fighting Addiction Through Education)( He is of counsel to the law firm Rubenstein & Pitts and serves as an adjunct professor at Southern Nazarene University teaching business ethics in the MBA program. Jim has always believed in serving others from his time as an Eagle Scout through working with and serving on the boards of charitable organizations such as the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, Variety Health Care Center, and Habitat for Humanity. Jim is an active member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene where he leads men's groups and teaches Sunday School. He is a co-founder of Marriage Network Oklahoma ( and has regularly appeared on television and before groups speaking and writing about employment law, workplace issues, ethics, marriage and family issues. Jim is also a member of Leadership Oklahoma and Leadership Oklahoma City. For ten years Jim was a volunteer weekly columnist for the Oklahoman writing a column called "Family Talk" that addressed issues relating to marriage, parenting and families. He has also served as a volunteer columnist for the Journal Record newspaper writing columns on business ethics.

2 Dr. Paul Dyer is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist who specializes in improving individual, team and organizational performance. He is currently Associate Director of Learning and Organizational Development at the University of Oklahoma. During his career he has taught organizational behavior and psychology courses at Rollins College, served as an internal and external business consultant with hundreds of individuals and a number of organizations such as The Dow Chemical Company, The Maytag Corporation, M & M Mars, Hilton, and Devon Energy. Dr. Dyer s areas of interest include organizational and leadership development, human resource management systems, talent management, leadership and organizational assessment, and building organizational cultures that support business strategy. Paul is a talented facilitator and the creator of two innovative management development programs: the Program for Effective Leadership and Foundations for Effective Leadership SM. He has authored two career books: The Ultimate Job Search Survival Guide and Sacred Path, Joyful Journey. Dr. Brigitte Steinheider (Associate Professor, Organizational Dynamics Program at the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa Graduate College), received her MS in Psychology in 1990 from the Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf, her MBA in 1992 from the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, and her Ph.D. from the Technical University Dresden, Germany in Her research focuses on shared leadership in law enforcement agencies as well as interdisciplinary collaborations and knowledge sharing processes in organizations and research institutions. She has worked with clients such as DaimlerChrysler, Volkswagen AG, and Robert Bosch GmbH.

3 Dr. Julie Nelson is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the College of Medicine at OUHSC and work as a Clinical Gero- Psychologist at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center and at the OKC Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Her areas of focus include self-care, effective communication, healthy aging and dying well. Dr. Nelson works within a strength based paradigm that emphasizes behaviors and activities that are adaptive and working well with a goal of expanding on those strengths. Her research usually incorporates creative aspects of coping that allow an individual to explore, express and discover the self in nurturing environments. Mr. Leonard Court is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (B.A., 1969) and Harvard Law School (J.D., 1972). He joined Crowe & Dunlevy in Mr. Court is listed in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Guide to Leading U.S. Labor and Employment Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America(Labor and Employment Law) and Who's Who in American Education. Mr. Court has served as a member of the United States Chamber of Commerce Labor Relations Committee since He has served as chairman of the Wage, Hour and Leave Subcommittee since Mr. Court was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in He serves on the selection review panel for the Tenth Circuit. Mr. Court was named the Oklahoma City Best Lawyers Labor and Employment Lawyer of the Year for 2010, the first year that Best Lawyers has made such a designation for Oklahoma City. 4 1998. He served as an adjunct professor of labor law at the University of Oklahoma Law School and Oklahoma City University School of Law. Mr. Court speaks at seminars throughout the nation for organizations such as The American Bar Association, LEI/BNA and the Council for Education in Management. Mr. Charlie Plumb represents management in all phases of employment law and labor relations. Much of his practice is dedicated to counseling employers on compliance with a broad range of state and federal employment laws and regulations and educating management on best practices for avoiding disputes arising from the employer/employee relationship. He also has extensive litigation experience before federal and state courts, regulatory and administrative agencies, and in arbitration matters involving claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge, retaliatory discharge, breach of contract, and constitutional law violations. As part of his labor practice, Charlie represents unionized employers in collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions, arbitrates grievances, and defends management against a variety of claims before the National Labor Relations Board and Department of Justice and in state and federal courts. He also represents employers who seek to maintain a non-unionized workforce by counseling management on union avoidance strategies and by providing training and advice to management and supervisors. His clients include numerous municipalities throughout Oklahoma and companies engaged in the manufacturing and distribution, construction, energy, public utility, technology and business services industries. Charlie is a frequent speaker and author on workplace issues. Ms. Sharolyn Whiting-Ralston is a trial lawyer whose practice is primarily focused on labor and employment law and general civil and business litigation. She represents employers in all phases of labor and employment law, including litigation before state and federal courts, regulatory and administrative agencies, and arbitration panels. Her experience includes advising clients on such issues as non-solicitation agreements, drug and alcohol testing, employee handbook and policy development, wage and hour matters, workplace safety and reductions in force as well as litigation avoidance and compliance with other federal and state laws. 6 Mr. Kevin Fitzgerald is the Assistant Vice Provost for Project Management at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He manages enterprise level implementations and maintenance of pre and post-award research grant systems, compliance based training systems and PeopleSoft financials, student and human resource systems. Mr. Fitzgerald holds an MBA, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master, and is certified for Information Technology Infrastructure Library V3. Mr. Don Harris serves as Senior Vice President, National Education Markets, for VALIC. Don is responsible for the strategic direction and national market activity for VALIC s education markets with primary focus on the higher education segment. He has over 25 years experience in retirement services and financial planning. Prior to joining VALIC, Don held key roles in the not-for-profit retirement industry in marketing, product and service development, financial education and relationship management. He started his career as an elementary school teacher in Baltimore, Maryland. Don received his BA degree from McDaniel College and an MBA from the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business. He currently holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65, as well as several professional designations, including Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC). Ms. Schwappach is a Senior Health Compliance Specialist in Sibson s Chicago office. She has more than 20 years of experience in health and welfare plan compliance, design, implementation and administration. Ms. Schwappach serves as a technical resource for clients and consultants on federal and state laws and regulations that affect health and welfare plans. Prior to joining Sibson, Ms. Schwappach was a Consultant with a human resource advisory firm and a Partner at a national law firm. She has counseled employers in a variety of industries,

7 including insurance, manufacturing, retail, technology, banking, healthcare and professional services. Ms. Schwappach has also worked extensively with public sector clients. Ms. Schwappach received her JD from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, her MBA from DePaul University and her BA from the University of Illinois. She is admitted to the State Bar of Illinois. Ms. Schwappach has published widely on employee benefit plan compliance requirements. She is a frequent speaker at client seminars and trade associations and an active member of the American Bar Association s Welfare Benefit Plans Subcommittee.
