2 Monitoring of palsa mires in Sweden Vattenfall Power Consultant AB The overall purpose is to develop an operational method based on very high-resolution satellite data in combination with detailed terrain data for monitoring of palsa mires in Sweden. Funding and project participants Funding from SEPA and Swedish National Space Board Laine Boresjö Bronge, Thomas Hedvall, Kjell Wester (Vattenfall Power Consultant) Susanne Backe (lst Norrbotten), Urban Gunnarsson (lst Dalarna), Johan Abenius (Naturvårdsverket)
