1 About us TUCEP Tiber Umbria Comett Education Programme is a association between Universities and Enterprises created in 1992 under a former Comett project. The main activity of TUCEP is the organization and management of training courses at national and European levels. TUCEP had coordinated many projects under Tempus, Socrates, Leonardo and was also responsible for the management of research programs. In the past it was the coordinator of projects related to Lifelong Learning Programmes, to Minerva and Grundtvig. The Association is also expert in workshops and meetings organisation and it is connected to an European network of training centers and Universities. Our activities concern: Transnational exchanges between Universities and Enterprises Development of European scale training courses Production and development of training, specialisation and requalification courses also with the financial support of third parties Promotion of any other initiative focused on development of qualified training activities, research and technological innovation programmes, all of this making use of the network of connections between European Universities and Research Centres. The efficiency of the methods used in its working and quality management system have been awarded, in 2002, by a quality certification under the standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, issued by DET NORSKE VERITAS. Since 2003 TUCEP is an accredited body by the Umbria Region to provide higher, lifelong training activities.

3 Mission Tucep s mission is analyzing training needs and translate them in effective solutions and to plan solutions both for entrepreneurial and academic world, and for youth and workers. Tucep achieves its objectives throught: Constant analysis of training needs; Management of training projects; Support in the learning process to promote the labour market entry; Support in the orientation process; Innovation and quality of vocational training; Youth and adults vocational mobility. Tucep helps young people in gaining access to many different jobs by training them with courses and by offering internships with companies, both on regional and international scale. It also offers continuing education courses to employees and entrepreneurs. The high quality level of TUCEP's University Partners, together with the consortium's close ties with local and international enterprises and with local institutions as well, keep the services' quality high.

4 Activities The highly qualified Training Team's skills guarantee the team's competence and effectiveness in: Financial management of research projects; Financial management/coordination of training projects and pilot projects; Support to enterprises in organisation of employee/corporate retraining courses; Support to preparation and submission of EU, national and regional projects and their financial management; Organisation of training courses described in Regional catalogues; Organisation, management and supervision of Training Projects including internships in companies in Italy and abroad.
